I'm surprised that the YouTube algorithm didn't automatically flag the video for linking to porn. It's not illegal, since the game is technically 18+, but it is against YouTube's ToS. This whole porn thing is really weird tbh. It's pretty obvious for even dedicated YanSim fans that this is just Alex's fetish project now.

It might be because when you go to that link directly it doesn't ask you to confirm you are over the age of 18 so it isn't picked up as porn automatically? I wouldn't know how exactly that sort of thing works, but that's my guess.

So I read every post since SNAP mode was released as to avoid a repost. And this might not be a big deal, but YandereDev linked to the Project QT page directly which took you to uncensored anime porn without asking for age verification on a youtube video which has a paid sponsorship from a porn game. I didn't see anyone talking about this.

Attached is a screenshot of the SNAP mode video with the porn link. Obviously it's not there now, and I reported the video for pornographic content in the description. I also went to patreon and reported that specific video too.

I knew he was going to get shit for posting it, so I made sure to archive it with a screen shot so he couldn't hide. Is this technically grooming children in the eyes of the law yet?

Imagine posting a sponsored link to a porn game on your school massacre murder-suicide mini game. At what point do you realize that maybe you're the bad guy?

Speaking from experience, it's very easy to support him if your only exposure is his youtube channel, especially in the early days. He does depict himself as a suffering genius who's making an unprecedented Persona-Hitman hybrid singlehandedly and spends 12 hours a day slaving away, neatly finetuning the game, in hopes of making back the lost time in sales revenue. In one of his videos he even complains that he hasn't watched anime or played videogames in years.

It's only later, by reading between the lines and being exposed to information that isn't in his videos, that you learn all of the above is false: Alex doesn't know basic coding, his game is full of superfluous (and sometimes contradictory) features, those "12 hours" include checking his email like an autist and streaming those videogames he "never plays" and he's making more money in Patreon donations, Twitch bits and Youtube ad revenue than he could ever make just selling the game.

Interrobangs are pretty informal grammatical constructs and as a result don't really have any rules that dictate their usage. Anecdotally, most people I've talked to use "? !" rather than "! ?", but it really doesn't matter at all.

I used to support this stupid dude. Like to the point of tuning into all his twitch streams and enabling him with the whole "You can take as much time as needed off!" I was younger and very stupid. I still have "encouraging" emails I sent him and tbh I wouldn't be surprised if my twitch username showed up on here in the nearly 2k pages. Thankfully I never gave this dipshit money. Really, I dont know what appealed to me on this game? Likely watching Jay (Kubz Scouts) Videos on the game way back in 2015. ... Which brings me to making an account to finally contribute and not just sit in the shadows. I decided I wanted a laugh and went back to his first video in his playlist thats legit, and it turned out to be May 2, 2015 "I will kill for your love" (Im sure yall dont need individual links to the videos.) In the entire 5 minute video, his computer is lagging to all hell and he writes it off as it being his computer, but now seeing all the discussion and even a video of him Dev coding, I can imagine it was less the computer and more the coding. I could be completely wrong, but it seems interesting looking back on all this. Even in the 2nd legit video in his playlist with the "what gender is your ideal soulmate" and Jay picks female only to be rewarded with a box that says "This feature isnt in the game yet!" OK then why is it there? That video was Sept 7, 2015. I can see why he produced and still is producing so many videos on this game but holy fuck the issues since the beginning...

Also, when he got confronted about where the money came from, he claimed that it came from his "personal savings", instead of the Patreon. As if those two things weren't the exact fucking same, since he only puts money into the game when he earns over 3,500 Patreon shekles a month.
