Hey the only thing I see a lot of people wondering about is Chloes relationship with her parents. I know we covered a lot of that but, correct me if I'm wrong, I'm not sure it's in her timeline. They all try to say she may have had a horrible childhood & have no clue how privileged she is/was. It may be helpful to have in there. I'm gonna look around and try to bookmark it either way. Thanks for your hard work!

I personally think that if all we know of Chloe is true, that she's just going to drop Nan. She's worked hard to amass and maintain her following, and if she's as self-centered as we think she is, she isn't letting Nan get in her way. Yes, Nan worships the ground she walks on, but she could just as easily manipulate one of her fans to LARP with her. She's not just gonna abandon all of the fans and money to save one person, especially when there's so much clear proof against them.

A part of me truly thinks she'll go down the Nan's getting therapy and her trauma caused her to draw kid nudes path. I think Chloe needs someone to control. She can't be a single entity or she'll feel lost.

The worst thing about her childhood is that she was born in the UK.

Part of me empathizes that Nan just got the shit kicked out of her by shit she thought she could hide, but the overwhelming majority of my feels says those apologies were the absolute most disingenuous speeches out of her yet and wonders what would make the best hanging pinata joke when the shit really sinks in.

I mean, we burst the pinata open, so now she's mad because there's no candy, just tons of CP and fetish art.

I got the sense that she is alluding to a period of fugue due to her mental issues, but maybe not related to her alters. I don't have the background to explain this well, but when someone goes through a mental breakdown, they often have trouble remembering the time period when they were unstable. That period would seem like being on "autopilot", and when they become stable again, the memories are vague. I don't want to give her an out because I think she is full of crap, but her wording sounded like she just doesn't remember these times, not that one of her alters did it.

Genuine apologies start with accountability. Nan takes every turn she can to deflect. Even her attempt to rape a minor she blames on having a teenage "alter." She can't for one second see that she is attracted to minors and put that into the world under the guise of mental illness instead of getting help.

There's this thing that abusers have in their fandom, and it's permanent empathy and denial. "They didn't know it was wrong and didn't intend to harm anyone uwu"

Most abuse is a side-effect of pure selfishness. It's not about hurting someone. It's about seeking pleasure for oneself in such a focused manner that harm being caused isn't even a visible side-effect. They do not care about the other party, they care solely about fulfilling their own needs or wants.

Rarely do people do anything awful during a breakdown. They just exist. If Nan used this excuse it wouldn't be much different than blaming a fake alter. So, don't worry, no one really gets a pass for being a shit human being.

ETA: is there any chance that Chloe didn't know about all of Nan's problematic past? You (Comrade) have taken a lot of research and made a timeline that no one can dispute. People just casually looking into her may not have all the dots connected like that. She should have known since they were engaged, but people, especially cluster b people, can hide shit for years. Even if Chloe is lying, she might get away with it.

I posted a video where Chloe discusses how her parents didnt know where her trauma came from and that they were loving and confused by it. So it's as close to a fact as we're gonna get when it's coming out of chloes mouth. I bookmarked it for myself for reference. Not a big deal, its somewhere else too. I just notice a lot of ppl asking about her parents so that's the 1st thing they wanna know.

Wow, that Nan timeline is really well done. Thank God someone was willing to put on a hazmat suit and wade through all that hideous shit. Couple things about it:

1. 9 May 2017 (The sneezing Jeremy line art) - I wonder if Jeremy, the "friend" who supposedly drew this is a actually a real person. The art style is the EXACT same as Jeremy the alter's style (as evidenced by the 'I'll miss you' drawing later in the timeline.) Little odd.
2. 15 Sept. 2018 (Sam takes Nan to get medical care) - Does Sam specifically talk about Nan rolling on the ground screaming somewhere in that Reddit thread you link? If anyone could tell me approximately how far in that is, that would be great. If not, it's cool, I'll actually do some real work and read through on my own.
3. May 2018 - I believe the original integration of Risk and Evan created an alter they named "New Evan", and Riven was formed when New Evan integrated with Seth. Not sure it really matters much, of course.
4. At some point realitively recently, they put up a video about Jeremy integrating with an (as far as I know) entirely new/as-of-yet unseen alter named Warren. This is when that sharp voice change seems to have happened.

Chloe's threats of splitting and suicide remind me so much of Eric Clipperton from Infinite Jest - a character who plays competitive tennis with a gun to his own head:

That'll be the age-sliding. She's admitted to being 30 but identifying as 23. When she was 15 she described herself as 13-20 on one of her fanfiction profiles. It's been a long running theme.
