Lol I'm hoping the elections will be a catalyst for an Eichenwald sequel.

Speaking of which, what happened to his trial? Did he agree to the plea deal, will his lawyer roll the dice, is it over?
Je.w Goldstein did nothing wrong.
And he would have gotten away with it scot-free if he hadn't had troll's remorse and donated to that epilepsy charity, then grovelled to Eichenwald about it.
Eichenwald is a genuine piece of shit.
Once I have time I'll read some of the documents. But one dumb question: Has it ever been verified by an independent third party doctor if Kurt had an epileptic fit? I know it's going to be relatively irrelevant for Ravioli since they still could nail him on attempt.Apparently he never pled guilty even though it was reported he was going to. He just recently lost a habeas writ.
Also tentacle fucker is even filing briefs in his case to bolster his ludicrous seizure tale.
The cunt has brought in four lawyers to beat up some defendant. What a rich pig.
Another dumb question: Was it really troll's remorse? From what I was able to find, they doxed him through his Apple iCloud. Which begs the question if Ravioli could have gotten away with it had he used a desktop PC with a VPN instead. And he would have gotten away with it scot-free if he hadn't had troll's remorse and donated to that epilepsy charity, then grovelled to Eichenwald about it.
And most likely a pedophile.
If Casey's version of the story is true, that would make for a far better movie.Bruh, having read a bunch about the Justin Berry saga there are only two other possibilities if he isn't a Pedo. Either he's an actual psychopath or his brain is genuinely super fucking friend by his epilepsy and god knows what else, and I don't find the latter that likely because as fucking exceptional as the man seems at the very least he always seems switched on and alert etc.
Shame too, because I actually love the film adaption of The Informant, based on his investigative reporting non-fiction book into price fixing.

It seems like Eichenwald wouldn't under normal circumstances at least even have a case. The burden of proof is on him, and there's far more than just a reasonable doubt lol. There is no evidence whatsoever of any epileptic fit and Eichenwald has lied under oath about fake seizures before, claiming that somehow seizures caused him to write checks to fund a child pornography site.
His brief in the case doesn't mention calling a doctor, ever. Instead, he called a lawyer. Because that's what you do when you have a real seizure.
I hope this case goes to trial and Ravioli's defense lawyer puts in some effort. Eichenwald getting deposed or cross examined would be a greater spectacle than Ron Soye. There is no evidence whatsoever of any epileptic fit and Eichenwald has lied under oath about fake seizures before, claiming that somehow seizures caused him to write checks to fund a child pornography site.

I'm not a burgerlolyer but I can see at least a case against Rivello for attempted assault/battery.It seems like Eichenwald wouldn't under normal circumstances at least even have a case. The burden of proof is on him, and there's far more than just a reasonable doubt lol.
To me at least, that seems like it would be an awfully hard sell for the prosecution. All the defense would have to say is "well, Mr. Rivello didn't think it was actually possible to cause a seizure by posting the image." From there the prosecution would have to prove that Mr. Rivello thought it was possible, which would be very difficult to do. Additionally, I might be mistaken but Eichenwald's allegations that he actually had a seizure would be admissible as evidence for the defense. The prosecution dropping those charges would seriously discredit Eichenwald's testimony.I hope this case goes to trial and Ravioli's defense lawyer puts in some effort. I see. Though I can imagine the prosecution bringing up the DM conversations Rivello had with his buddies where he more or less said "I hope this sends him into a seizure" and "I spammed this at Eichenwald let's see if he dies". Personally I don't think Rivello was really trying to literally kill Eichenwald, but the whole "it's just a prank bro, I was being ironic" doesn't necessarily work IRL.To me at least, that seems like it would be an awfully hard sell for the prosecution. It's amazing to me how many people fuck themselves by talking to the cops. It's a criminal case. But he's being allowed in to file briefs. The guy is, I think, still in jail over this fucking bullshit.
Unfortunately, he dumbly admitted he knew he had epilepsy (even though he did not know that and I do not know that for that matter) and that he intended to give him a seizure (even though Kunt's story is urban legend levels of absolute bullshit). If he hadn't stupidly talked to the cops he could have easily taken that line of defense and there would have been very little case against him.
Old, but relevant. It's amazing to me how many people fuck themselves by talking to the cops.
I don't recall what thread it was in, but someone posted a video where this junky had been arrested for armed robbery. It was obvious as fuck he was guilty, but because he wouldn't say shit to the cops they ended up having to cut him loose. A lot of times the police are solely relying on anything they can get the accused to say.Old, but relevant.
