I think you guys have gotten a pretty good idea of what he’s like as an individual. He’s not exactly friendly. I was one of the last mods to be added to the mod team, so I didn’t have a ton of interaction with him aside from the bargain for the subreddit, and at that point he hated my guts for being friends with the other mods, so he was pretty damn rude.
His reasoning for buying the subreddit was that we “ran it down with piss poor moderation” and destroyed it. Basically, he thought we let people do whatever they wanted (and we did) and he didn’t like the criticism he was getting on the subreddit.
Can't say I blame you guys for feeling that way.

This is probably offtopic, but if you need to know, the last head moderator was a massive prick with a god complex who left because he was throwing a temper tantrum. He was comparable to Alex to be honest, and I don’t feel bad for him in the slightest.
That'd be an OK solution for this part in particular, but one of the really big overarching problems with Yandev's code organization (or lack thereof) is that there's no separation of code and data (and not in a fun way, like with Lisp). So many purely aesthetic things are hard-coded into the source logic - a config file that maps #{NPC number N => {dress => D ; hair => H ; eye_color => E}} would be much more maintainable, and he wouldn't have to rebuild the source every time he wanted to change a minor detail.
