I want to throw a bit into the ring right now to say, often those who have experienced childhood sexual abuse or unhealthy stability and support during pubescent years where they felt blamed and shamed for their own sexuality might have an unhealthy attitude toward child porn art or fiction. I am not excusing at all Nan’s clear acts of deviance and the danger of that and I hope that’s clear or I have made that clear enough by now my feelings about it.

But people who do this often are inserting themselves as the child or “small” one. In the fantasy, they are the ones receiving the treatment, rather than the ones performing it. It’s a way to normalize and make peace or a connection to someone who made you believe it’s because that’s what love is. Or how you were special to them. It’s forced into your mind there’s something about you that deserved it, so it must be right on some level. That’s the nature of abuse. That’s why it’s so pernicious and so awful and can easily destroy lives. But abuse begets abuse and someone has to be able to step in and try to stop it. Or one just becomes the monster.

what you are referring to is something that a child or teenager might do. While it is true that abusers have often been abused themselves, once they become an abuser they are no longer a victim. The person or people they abuse are.

An adult supposedly in therapy for their trauma for years? You can’t excuse them as a victim. There is a point in which it becomes a choice.

Since underage ppl are allowed to join the forum, ppl just kinda went with it at first since some 14-year-olds were posting their art of 14-year-old characters. Then Spoider, who had posted on the Adult board (access granted by mods who verify your age), posted art of Dipper on the regular board. Someone pointed out that was too creepy and suddenly ppl hopped on that train. I guess they did have an eye-opening moment then, but idk. There are a LOT of creeps on SFF. There was earlier someone who was posting stories of literal 5-year-olds on there.
Anyway, then ppl noticed that p much every single thing Spoider had drawn was of underage charas, only adult charas were requests or the like. She went from being a pretty popular person to creepy perv and promptly she stopped logging on.
Not much later or around the same time, the forum changed their policy: No more content of underage characters or people.

Its also easily detectable with hormonal blood work and an mri.
DID malingering is just a case of reading blogs of other cases and learning the DSM. Social media has just made it that much easier for these leeches to congregate together and help them rehearse, fine tune their act then go sniffing around for a impressionable, well meaning but not very bright audience who will dig in completely ignoring any evidence of their fraudulent behaviour or contradictory stories and fight your battles for you.

ETA: Since someone mentioned a few pages back the documentary about Helen that I shared way back at the start of the thread, I'm almost finished reading Helen's book and it solidifies for me how completely full of shit Chloe is. Helen's abuse story is harrowing, truly a disturbing and upsetting read. The years of misdiagnoses, mental breaks and being held in psychiatric hospitals. Helen would come to on a hospital bed with her arms in bandages and after having her stomach pumped with no memory of what had happened. She once went for a walk in the countryside and came to lost, in the middle of fields and trees with no recollection of which way she'd come and she was out there for like 7 hours or something trying to get home. As someone said, Chloe does not display this fundamental symptom of amnesia. And she said she'd never been misdiagnosed once, which is of course because she sought out the diagnoses she wanted and went as far as to pay for it. Its especially interesting that Helen is also in the UK, so you would think her experiences with the mental health system would be similar. Helen also had memories and flashbacks of her abuse all throughout childhood and into adulthood, but as a child she simply didn't realise that the memories she had were what happened to her. She thought for years, as a young child, that they were dreams or that she was just a sick person for having such horrific images in her head. She thought it was happening to another little girl and not her. There were many signs of what was happening, such as her having recurring cystitis at the age of fucking 2 yrs old that resulted in frequent doctors appointments and hospital investigations. All of this is missing from Chloe's story, down to the lack of physical ailments that healthy children should never get. I'd recommend reading the book if you can stomach the graphic descriptions of what her father did to her, as it really lets you see the glaring difference between someone really suffering with such a destructive disorder and a complete charlatan like Chloe. Link to the book on Amazon Alice Jameison is the pseudonym Helen had to use because her father was still alive and could not be prosecuted at the time of publication. I posted a while back how its pretty easy to deduce that this is Helen's story from a newspaper article on it, plus the details in the book all match up even down to her love of Mr Happy ( )
