I think the biggest one to start with is Ryloth, first off it was orginally a tidally lock planet, with viscous predators and the Twi'lek were named because they lived within the twilight of the planet. So does anyone have a compilation of every Filoni Wars inconsistency with Legends? Im fasmiliar with all those in fact I thinkl I know most if not all of them. I just want to be thoroughI think the biggest one to start with is Ryloth, first off it was orginally a tidally lock planet, with viscous predators and the Twi'lek were named because they lived within the twilight of the planet.
Then Filoni Wars came along and made Ryloth a genric rocky planet with a regular day and night cycle. If you can reconcile that than it wouldn't be too hard to reconcile other rectons, another one would of course being Darth maul being alive, and the pressence of Ahsoka Tano, which dosen't make sense watching Rots.
They also revived dead characthers, and prematurley killed off other like Evan Piel and Adi Galia.
I also suspect Shaak ti in the latest episode was killed off screen, so another big recton.
He couldn't just have his clones be special or handwave it as Rex dosen't kill Ahsoka cause she's not a jedi anymore, he had to pull a huge asspull out of it.A big one is the Clones being compelled to perform Order 66 because of brainwashing chips implanted in their brain. This contradicts most previous portrayals of Order 66, and seems to simply be the case because Filoni needed an easy answer for why his beloved clones didn't join the jedi purge
JJ has now set his sights on two franchises he’ll give the cancer he gave to Star Wars and Star Trek: The Shining and Justice League.
You don't understand, the chips make Order 66 tragic.A big one is the Clones being compelled to perform Order 66 because of brainwashing chips implanted in their brain. The only Jedi Filoni will kill are those written by others, and he'll probably minimize it so he can preserve his own precious characters from being killers so I bet it's all off screen.I'm ok with the madalore arc right now and I like how it appears we are going to see Order 66 in action again. My distinct hope is they show more of the major Jedi being killed and if we're lucky, more of the Jedi Temple during the sacking.
I love the death compilations of Shaak Ti. Dunno why, but it amuses me that she's the Kenny of Star Wars.I also suspect Shaak ti in the latest episode was killed off screen, so another big recton.
So just sat down and watched all of season 7 of the Clone Wars up to the most recent episode.
I really wish that Obi-wan/Anakin crystal arc had been chosen over the Martez sisters with Ahsoka arc. (Also fuck Disney for the obvious SJW inserts in the sisters. That horrible woke haircut shouldn't ever be in Star Wars.) The Obi/Anakin arc had some amazing character development and introspection between the two of them. Especially during those campfire scenes.

The film effects can be handled like Coruscant was in ROTS. Who's important at Endor? The Emperor/Luke, Admiral Ackbar, Lando, and maybe Wedge and Admiral Piett (INTENSIFY FORWARD FIREPOWER). At Coruscant the important people are Obi-Wan, Anakin, and General Grievous (in his flagship). The battle follows those important people the entire time and has a few shots which gives the illusion of a larger battle. And in ROTJ the important part of the Battle of Endor is Luke confronting Vader and the Emperor on the Death Star II. The Rebel fleet is there to help the Emperor show Luke how hopeless things are. IMO the narrative would be even better if we have some adjutant shout out to the Emperor how [Grand] Admiral whoever's fleet has jumped in to finish the encirclement.Clearly the actual explaination on the numbers of ships is the limitations of the effects at the time the film was made and yes I would agree that there should have been at least several hundred Imperial ships, you could justify it by saying the Emperor was so overconfident he didnt think he needed anymore than a few ships to crush a small rebel force.
Very well? It's all in three dimensions over tens of thousands of cubic kilometers of space, they line up and shoot and cycle in and out as needed. It would be two clouds of ships colliding. TIE Fighters too.Again, how well would 5,000 Star Destroyers actually fare in a space battle? Most would be so far from the action (in all directions as a space battle is not arranged linear) they wouldnt fire a shot and if they could they would be firing through their own ships. The real benifit would be the fighters though, but even this would cause a problem because thousands of fighters could not maneuver around each other that well, especially when there are as few targets as the rebel fleet/fighters. I agree with your overall premise, but I just dont think thousands of ships would be how a space battle would be fought.
It wasn't a theory, it was a fact, as mentioned in the Thrawn Trilogy and later books. I think that's a bit of a cop-out to explain why the Emperor doesn't bother to bring more ships there and presumably is actively dissuading a bunch of admirals and moffs from doing the same. Yeah, Sheev can do as he pleases, but if you're like the admirals on the first Death Star, you have no idea what your boss is rambling about when he says how unlimited the Force is. And it still doesn't preclude the Empire from stashing a few hundred ships in each system nearby as a reserve. There's also the possibility that the number low on purpose for another reason.
Correct me if I'm wrong but in the old EU it was theorized that Palpatine was using the force to directly enhance each ships overall capability and coordination with the rest of the fleet at Endor, which is why the empire's forces fell apart after he died and partly why Thrawn ended up recruiting C'baoth to his side in the Thrawn Trilogy.
So the low number of Star Destroyers could of been something of a test, both in terms of how effective a force controlled fleet could be, and how many ships Palpatine could handle at once.
At least he's not going to touch the DCAU. That's forever Bruce Timm and Paul Dini's purview and no one seemed interested in defiling that particular corpse just yet.
