Late to the discussion I know, but if Phil's life was something to be envied, why does he have to whine about the trolls so god-damn much, especially during Chill Streams?
Think about it. Minecraft is a slow game where you're meant to dedicate a lot of time towards it. It's quiet, there's uneventful lulls...the whole point is that DSP interacts with his viewers, right? He could be talking about anything. Not even what the chat thinks, just talk about what interests him. But he doesn't. I'm willing to bet that every single one of his Minecraft streams has a point where he just sits there complaining about detractors or how hard his life is.
Now, my point isn't that "the 'tractors live in his head rent-free! Haha!" or even "Wow, Phil really doesn't give a shit about what his viewers have to say."
The point is, Phil is unhappy. Maybe he wasn't always, but he always will be. Even with his Vest Streak as high as his age, and going higher, he's still an angry, bitter man. Even without considering his gambling addiction, the man is a bottomless void when it comes to money. He could make millions off Twitch and he'd still be thinking about the insult he got in a cheer when he goes to sleep at night.
It's why he says "Positivity" so much. It's a label to him, a buzzword. He doesn't actually understand it. It's something he adds to a tag of a product.
Envy Twitch Streamers, sure. But never envy Phil. He has no joy left in his life.

(Assuming 708 additional $1.00 tips)
Unique tippers = 198
Total tips = $ 5016.64
Total tips assuming $0.30 + 2.9% fees on each = $ 4543.56
Tips up to $1: 714 totaling 714.00
Tips between $1 and $5: 245 totaling 1091.54
Tips between $5 and $10: 59 totaling 518.19
Tips between $10 and $20: 32 totaling 579.59
Tips between $20 and $50: 29 totaling 961.32
Tips above $50: 13 totaling 1152.00

Edit: I don't count most tips below the $4.20 mark, so I just assume that the difference between what I count and the tip total listed is comprised of $1 (or whatever minimum I set) tips. This gives the highest amount of fees and represents the low end of what Phil is getting in tips.

I don't get why he still mods for Phil.
Because he's in a bit of a unique position: he gets to peek behind the curtain at the kind of shit Phil tells his moderators. It's like the bonus features on one of Phil's precious Blu-rays. Many detractors would love to be in that position; by continuing to "mod" for Phil, he keeps his access to the inner circle. If he wants to attention whore by leaking a bunch of shit, he very easily could. If he just wants to watch the world burn, then he doesn't have to do anything he isn't already doing.

Phil is unhappy, but I don't think he cares that much about troll cheers and stuff like that. It's rare that anyone says something that gets him upset, he probably more feels ennui from constantly being the butt of the internet for many years.

What Phil hates is that he has to play video games he doesn't care about for an obviously mentally stunted loser audience that he sees as so beneath him. He desperately wants to be that Chad in high school that everyone respects and he bullies those lesser than him. If Phil had a choice, I firmly believe he'd rather be posting vitriol with us than wasting his time with weeaboo furfags all day.

I think hes also unhappy he absolutely sucks at nearly every game under the sun. It's obvious he wants to believe hes awesome at games like back when he got 4th at EVO. That's Phil's life now, eternal 4th place but acting like its 1st cuz the other guys are Asian.

Seeing as i don't want to watch his playthrough when its not through a restream can anyone tell me if he fought the Hell House in FF7R yet?
His last thing he got to was the hand massage lady which from what I have gathered leads to the dress scene. I have only played the FF MMO so I have no context if he has or not. Hope it helps though.

cant wait until someone tells philbert about it and he goes on a 10 minute rant. View attachment 1237655

thats actually kinda meh, dude makes like what 40 million? and he sents a measly 1k (cough trump) to the mods that scour through the bullshit to make sure his shit stays somewhat clean

Hmm, his description of FF7's main character sounds oddly familiar...

While DSP lying is always a possible answer, his specific story about the fucking thieving asshole old woman that bought 14 jars of pasta sauce seems too specific to not be an actual experience.

That's what lairs do, they add in extra/specific details because they think it makes the lie more believable.

Yes, he wants to be respected and looked up to so badly. That's why the pre streams are a thing. He fucking loves to lecture people, and he thinks people need his advise and hot takes. If he thought he could he would do 8 hours of pre stream every day, because remember dave thinks he's the Howard Stern of YT/Twitch. dave thinks he's so damn wise and entertaining he should get paid for just talking.

In that case he should get to the honeybee inn near the end of next stream maybe before break if he doesn't stall
It wouldn't surprise me if he manages to stall getting there next time either. He hit Wall Market and immediately went super analytical on everything he saw. Reading the description of every item he picked up. Checking the stats of each item he saw in the shops. Picking up a new weapon and meticulously going through the weapon upgrades. Doing Chadley's VR missions. Checking, re-checking and checking again every corner of the map to make sure he hadn't missed anything. Between him and the "cringe" part he's so desperate to avoid he still has the arena, the boss fight, the optional arena fights, several side quests and a few more story beats. He can easily stretch that out.

I have never felt hatred or wished ill will on any of my fellow humans. I've been through some shit; divorces, 10 years in state penitentiary (wrangler not convict) and I've made a lot of enemies but I have never -hated- any of them or wished harm on them. In fact, I'm quick to forgive and protect them if it was necessary to do so.

Despite this, I have an intense and primal hatred for Phil which I can't explain. It is the same feeling one might experience when observing a large cockroach skittering across the floor toward your feet, coupled with the equally disturbing feeling that would come from witnessing some sort of horrible injustice taking place. I felt it from the moment I saw his face and heard him speaking and it only got worse after I saw the MGS2 video. I had to take a break from watching TIHYDP because his voice was beginning to make me legitimately angry, a thing which almost never happens. I hope he catches a brain eating amoeba. I hope his little microdick shrivels up, turns gray and falls off. I hope he catches that disease that turns your muscles into bones. In fact, the closest approximation I can make to DSP is that of a disease.

When I think about Phil, I feel an almost painful urgency to remove his literally toxic genes from the pool before it pollutes or harms my species any further. I feel like I am watching an invader, an interloper; something from elsewhere capable of causing an irreparable disruption in the non-euclidean folds of reality where things like balance, truth, justice and other concepts vital to humanity live.

First of all - you're using my avatar, please change. It's funny - I made this avatar myself when I joined the farms, but I see it posted in places sometimes like people think they found it.

As for your post: You need to take an emotional step back. I see Phil Burnell as a fascinating psychological study. It's such a deep rabbit hole to go down. His terrible personality and poor social skills, his narcassism and arrogance, the fact that he's terrible at every single aspect of his job... combined with a bizarre set of circumstances that cause him to always survive like a cockroach. He's fascinating. He's a self-aggrandising blowhard who is always right and never wrong, who also secretly knows that's he's a stupid asshole. He's better than everyone else, but also a fuckup. He works harder than anyone else, while everyone can see how lazy and deluded he is. He's a cult leader controlling the narrative with pignosis, in a war against an audience who don't buy the pignosis. He's an alcoholic and a gacha addict who denies both. He's a brimming, stewing, bubbling, aching, frothing bag of fuckuppery, and he knows it.

But you need perspective. 1) Phil hasn't actually committed a crime... well, except perhaps tax fraud and perjury... but you know what I mean. He hasn't actually hurt anyone. He's a harmless, useless asshole. The worst thing he does is manipulate young and mentally vulnerable people out of their money, but if Twitch have chosen not to ban him for that behaviour then there's no point feeling righteous about it. Fools and their money are easily parted. 2) It may feel unfair that he makes a 6-figure income, but so do thousands of thots and camwhores. If you aren't angry at them, there's no need to be angry at Phil. 3) He's trapped in a hell of his own making. Nobody would want to be Phil. His "crimes" are also his punishment.

I would have to disagree somewhat.

What about that guy who was a fan and when Phil was complaining about how bad his life was because Leanna left he had to cook his own food. The guy said his brother died and he was able to still cook, clean, and go to work. Phil went on a rant insulting and accusing him of being a liar. I can't say for sure, but since WarDawgLeader left Phil to become a detractor, I would say those words hurt.

Did Howard seem hurt in his rantings about how Phil wronged him? He had more than a handful of bad experiences with Phil. I would say he was hurt.

Leanna? She smartened up. She wasn't hurt, she dumped him.

SpawnSeats? The guy closed up shop overnight after being associated with Phil. Has he moved on, I don't know. Was he hurt? I would say so.

The guys who made EVO Hell, Phil's detractors gave them hell. Indirectly I would say be associated with Phil hurt them.

Who else? Did that Dutch couple get hurt because of Phil? The wife's snatch was doxed with a child's baseball bat. Respect the Pact? He didn't pay them and they disappeared. The Sons of Kojima? We can blame it all on Freddy Boy, but they wouldn't have gathered unless Phil existed. Vidar? He was at one time Phil's brightest white knight and Phil threw him under the bus.

The memories of his deceased friends and colleagues? Has Phil besmirched their reputations?

And Kat. Has Phil hurt Kat by being dishonest with his debts? Who knows. Has he hurt her by putting her on parade in front of trolls? Most definitely. Has he told stories of her poor cooking? Did he ever say she needed a month to figure out the route to work, a half a mile away? Did he refer to her as a second income? Did he say, as a plus, her hobbies were cooking and cleaning? He has hurt her reputation.

Phil's hands are not clean.

In my opinion Phil has hurt multiple parties.

Don't forget that Phil scams literal wheelchair symbols.
His mentally impaired viewers and/or children like Derich are being exploited by him.
The leaks show that Phil clearly hates Sidella but keeps him around because he gives him money.
Or like his Patreons who waited for Project 7.
I would say he hurt plenty of people by scamming them out of their money.
