Community Tard Baby General (includes brain dead kids) - Fundies and their genetic Fuckups; Parents of corpses in denial

I randomly thought about eva sherbondy today (the 7 year old who fell off a golf cart & hit her head, parents believe god will heal her completely) & decided to check back.

She is still having seizures often. She started crying all the time. It is so bad that when she stopped crying they knew something was fucked up and took her to the hospital. She developed kidney stones. The kid is currently at the hospital so at least she is doped up on pain meds.

They posted a facebook video of her mom bouncing her lifeless body on the trampoline to the tune of "Sunshine, Lollypops, and Rainbows". It is reallllllly disturbing.

We continue to search for what’s going on with Eva. She remains regularly uncomfortable for some unknown reason that we haven’t discovered yet. As has been the case, all the things we’re checking on aren’t yielding any results. So she remains in the PICU as we try to find the right medications, try various tests, rock her when she cries, and pray for her when she sleeps.
I have a sense the Lord is up to something but am also feeling incredibly impatient and sad for my baby.
So many have offered heart-felt and helpful ideas and insight into what might be the cause of Eva’s discomfort, which we’re grateful for and make a point to discuss with her medical team. But for now, please simply pray the Lord reveals what we need to know and that He continues to work.
As my mom reminds Eva every time they talk: “He who began a good work in you, will be faithful to complete it.” (Philippians 1:6)

WE THINK WE FIGURED IT OUT!!
After even MORE tests and MORE scans, it basically turns out that she needed a particular medication we had weened her off of for seizures. Despite her having had many brain scans and EEG tests, they believe Eva’s brain has been having deep-brain seizures that are not able to be detected.
So, we’ve introduced the right medication back into her system and she’s doing much better so far.
Thank you for all the love and care you’ve sent us and once again, God came through.
In the middle of this hospital stay, when the anger and depression was at it’s peak for me, I was sitting in my car in the hospital parking garage on a Zoom staff call, when God brought to mind the phrase: “His eye is on the sparrow.” I know that’s not an actual Scripture verse and is based on Matthew 6; 10, and Luke 12, but it gave me a little dose of peace in that moment. Not only that, but right then, a half-dozen small birds happen to land on the parking garage wall directly in front of me and flutter around for a while.
I’m not sure why or what God is doing, but I know that if He sees and cares for the sparrows, I can trust Him with my Eva.

Well now that we’ve made sure Eva isn’t over-medicated…she’s back to crying more. As I’ve mentioned numerous times before, it’s brutal to listen to, but it’s also motivating us to really push looking in places we might not expect for the source of what’s upsetting her.
So far, all the usual suspects aren’t the cause, so we’re asking all the medical teams to start looking in places that might not necessarily make sense. Hopefully this will lead us to what’s going on and then be able to help Eva be as comfortable as possible so she can keep healing.
Your prayers mean so much and God is working! Please keep praying that the Lord divinely reveals what’s happening in her body to the wonderful people caring for her!

Hey guys, just wanted you to know that Eva is back in the hospital. She’s been really out of sorts and crying almost constantly since we left the hospital last time, and then yesterday she was unresponsive all day, which was very unusual. Later in the evening, we noticed her blood pressure and pulse were a little low, as was her temperature. It’s such a very drastic change from the constant crying to unresponsive that we knew something was up.
We connected with her doctors and after the paramedics came to do an official check, we felt it best to take her in to ensure she’d be safe and also try and figure out what the heck is going on with her.
Lindsay was with her through the night and, annoyingly, all of her tests — CT scan, belly scan, lung scan, full metabolic blood panel, urine sample — all look great. Her heart rate and blood pressure are abnormally low for her, but her temp is normalizing. She got fluids on arrival but isn’t currently on any IV meds or fluids.
Essentially, doctors just don’t know what’s going on. Her primary doctors are shocked that her blood panel came back looking good. They are going to test cortisol level this morning and recheck her blood around 8, but that’s the only plan for today as of now.
So, all the wonderful “Eva’s Army” prayer warriors out there, pray that this time we will figure out what’s happening and how to help her. We’re praying for wisdom, creativity, and out-of-the-box thinking for all the doctors and nurses and specialist who are caring for her, that when we come home (hopefully super soon), we’ll have peace of mind, knowing she’s comfortable while God continues to heal her!

Okay, well at this point it’s just getting funny.
Guess who has kidney stones?!?! Eva does! Like mother - like daughter, apparently.
Last week, Eva was having a super rough time with a lot of crying a pain. We did the best we could to figure out what was causing it, with very little success. Then she had a very calm day, followed by a full day of vomiting. She couldn’t keep anything down so we brought her into the hospital on Friday to avoid dehydration.
Since then, we’ve been running various tests to figure out what is causing her so much discomfort and one of the discoveries was that she has 2-3 kidney stones in each kidney.
At this point, the causes of her pain do NOT seem to be constipation, a UTI, or even the stones themselves. We’re looking for a couple more tests to further eliminate other potential issues and/or find the specific thing that’s upsetting her.
So the adventure continues! And I did get a little smile from her too (2nd pic), which was nice.
Please keep my little girl in your prayers and she continues to slowly (and painfully at times) heal. Also pray for wisdom and clarity for all those caring for her, that we find the source of her discomfort and then eliminate it.
Thank you! @ American Family Children's Hospital

The kids mom was in the ICU with all kinds of health problems, seems to be doing better though.

The dad revealed that eva is adjusted 3x a week by a chiropractor. Those unethical fucks will do anything for $$$, apparently.

I feel bad for the other kids (especially the child who continuously has the face of a child circa Victorian workhouse), they at least could escape to school. Now because of the wuflu they can't and their mother has made it crystal clear the corpse comes first and screw everyone else.
I wish we could do something for them, honestly. They desperately needs the cards and free shit way more than the grotesque house plant that's their little sister. Too bad the mom would never let that happen.

Honestly if I was the mom of a classmate of one of the other kids I'd find as many excuses to invite them over and do things for them as possible. That way they can have at least some fun and normal childhood things that their mom is denying them and doing with Kayli the house plant instead.

Chronic pain is common after traumatic brain injury in a large number of cases:

.
Is not cruel, it is more cruel to let them suffer.
Chronic pain is common after traumatic brain injury in a large number of cases:
if you have a brain stem and a drop more, you can feel pain and very little else. your entire existence is pain, pain, a brief absence of pain, seizures, pain and more pain.

they're putting these kids through real, actual hell. it's sincerely evil.

This whole situation disturbs me so much. Probably because Eva was normal and then one day she wasn't. Maybe it's the fact that I'm 100% certain her dad is a creep. It's just bothersome.

That way they can have at least some fun and normal childhood things that their mom is denying them and doing with Kayli the house plant instead.

A houseplant at least doesn't look like a screaming monster that just fell out of a Munch painting.

It is mentioned a few pages back here...the mom also had kidney stones so bad thats what led to the ICU.

Seems kinda odd two family members had stones so bad it ended them up in the ICU.

It's either some shared genetic condition or, being deranged religious nuts, they took some quack remedy that did it.

I wish we could do something for them, honestly. They desperately needs the cards and free shit way more than the grotesque house plant that's their little sister. Too bad the mom would never let that happen.

I like the idea of doing things for the other kids, but you KNOW the mom wouldn't allow THAT.
Kayli would have to be included, or it's not going to happen.
Mom needs those photo opps, dontcha know?

If Jesus wanted it it would just happen though. He wouldn't be depending on some dumb doctors because he's, you know, Jesus and shit.
Yeah, if Jesus wanted these kids to be screwed up, I think that's more of a negative reflection on him than it is a positive one on the kids.

Like what do these women think Jesus does? Take a drag off his blunt and go, "Yo, I wonder what would happen if like. Someone was born inside out."

It's that time of year again. I've had multiple people post this on my page.View attachment 1224668
By this logic, CWC is an angel. Not sure how Chris shagging a sex doll is meant to teach me how to be a better person, but go off I guess.
shockingly, no one sent in videos (:_(

Goddamn, lady. Your kid doesn't need videos from random strangers. Even if she had the capacity to understand the content of the videos, she wouldn't need them. This is obviously for mom's ego, not the kid's happiness.

Also, how can she have a"strong faith in Jesus?" Kayli probably doesn't even know what Jesus is.

Major Cal Hartley vibes, except this kid cannot fake a smile at all.
Palliative care christmas 'party'. The dad looks like he's about to cry, her son has the expression of a prisoner of war, and mom, mom is beaming and happy.

Again, her kids can't even fake a half a smile, dad looks like he's trying not to cry and mom is full of joy.

I hope he has a therapist. That's just fucking sad.

Christmas 2019, this seems like a cruel joke at first glance. The doll has more expression on it's face than Kayli.

I'm sure if she was aware, she'd really appreciate this.

This is all for mom's benefit. It has absolutely nothing to do with saving Kayli, or Kayli being a fighter or survivor. Something broke in mom's brain when she was pregnant, when Kayli was born and when she tried to die the first time.
While the kid is an absolutely horrifying sight, it's the mom who's the cow. Kayli is innocent, and deserved to be allowed to pass humanely ages ago rather than used as a prop. It looks like Kayli's Krusade has destroyed the dad and the other children.

There is no reason to have forced this body to stay alive like this, it's inhumane and selfish.

Lmao, the younger boy looks like he's having Vietnam flashbacks. Half of that could be because he's a preteen being forced to pose for a family picture though. The way he's looking at Kayli in that last picture cracks me up.

How can they see their daughter looking like a vegetable and crying constantly and think "This is progress". Anyone would see a child suffering and attempt to ease it. Her mom seems to think she's getting better for some reason. The crying is likely an automatic response to pain, or it could just be plain old brain damage. There's plenty of examples of people having traumatic brain injuries and expressing strange emotions that don't line up with an emotional response (literally laughing for no reason Joker style is a somewhat common one). Just sad.

After even MORE tests and MORE scans, it basically turns out that she needed a particular medication we had I HAVE AUTISM PLEASE LAUGH AT ME...

Well at least the word filter knows what we're all thinking

I wouldn't be surprised if the parents think she's improving because they think Eva's crying is communication. It reminds me of how Gwen uploaded a short clip of Claire (? can't tell the girls apart tbh) crying and in the description she's going on and on about how happy she was because Claire can't usually communicate her emotions and it was so special to finally know that her kid was miserable.

It's sad and creepy how religious parents try to turn their kids' suffering into something special and holy. What happened to your innocent child is nothing short of a tragedy for the entire family, and it seems almost insulting to me to believe that their conditions are awesome because they will bring others closer to God or teach them how to be better people. Bitch your kid never asked for this. Why are they not allowed to be normal and experience life? If God exists, shit like this is proof that he does not give a fuck.

I remember early on, they opted to take Eva off the vent, they were willing to allow her to pass but were praying she lived and had a full recovery. In their minds, this miracle occurred that allowed her to survive, which the doctors described as "unfortunate" - because her prognosis was basically veg for life. They doubled down on their prayers for a full recovery, but got sort of stuck with this new life. While Eva can breath on her own, there's no plug to pull
What's disturbing is how much of Eva is put on display for the public to see. If the Eva they knew before was modest or shy at all, they can bet she wouldn't appreciate being exposed like this.

There's still a presumably a feeding tube though.

To be fair I'm pretty sure the kid was already plastered all across social media before her accident. The dad seems like an attention seeker and cute kids always get plenty of likes and comments.

I think the dad's arrogance is most disturbing. Surely he must be aware that thousands of kids are either born severely disabled or have accidents, but you don't really hear about them being miraculously healed against all odds. What makes that one little girl so special to warrant a miracle? If it weren't for that, I could almost understand the parents. If you have a potato baby, you can delude yourself into believing they are more aware than they could possibly be, but at least they're potatoes from the start. Having a bright, happy little girl and losing her without warning, but never being able to grieve and move on because her empty shell is still there must be awful. I can understand why parents would document what they are going through, looking for advice or even just a kind word that gets them through another day.
