From what she posted in the FB group she only paid for the £600 assessment. Which is literally just the assessment by Remy and him writing a letter of recommendation.
Im not even sure if it gets signed off by a psychiatrist as they have an assessment for 3x the price that includes the psych.

Pottergate really is a sham center. I can't believe Remy charges £600, so he can tell deluded and naive (mainly) young adults they have a rare disociative illness. That's if DID even exists at all which is debatable.

One thing I haven't heard mentioned about "Nin" and her DID is the fucking "main frame" alter/whatever the fuck that is. That sounds the most fantasy like thing ever in her entire system. So there's this main frame that's the mastermind behind this all but it's super quirky mysterious and vague. What the fuck is that? I've spoken with people who claim to have DID and never heard of the main frame type bullshit. It just seems like the ultimate OC that one day we'll know about but is hyped up to the extreme. And only Jade knows about it apparently. That is about the craziest thing I've heard and what made me stop believing her. It just sounds like this "main frame" is the "cause of her getting DID!!!! woo!!! Mysterious!!!" Anyone else have thoughts on this supposed key to everything alter?

The mainframe isn't a human alter, she describes it as code/a computer program. Jade and the mainframe are the only alters that have access to all of the brain's memories

It doesn't. The forensic psychiatrist there stated that she is not involved, and they reported that they give you the assessment and a referral with a recommendation for a diagnosis. Nothing beyond that.

Additionally, it's always boggled my mind how people like this would technically constantly be triggered irl then with even the most benign of things like the scent of cigarette fumes in the air, or someone even talking about it. With the whole Trisha drama, it was especially mental how all these DID alters of so many were apparently splitting apart, breaking the hell down and some going suicide mode and ending up in that "dark place" etc. All because someone on the net made fun of DID... I can't go looking through my post history for his name at the moment, but I do recall that he wasn't listed among the Pottergate staff. I know Remy can't diagnose anyone, but I do think the people he sees are usually diagnosed by a colleague that they never actually meet. I don't know how that sort of process works in the UK, but it's what Chloe and other testimonials from the center make it sound like.

If you read through the replies, a clinician in the UK stated that this is not the process, that the psychiatrist would not simply "stamp" anything. She stated that the psychiatrist would do their own assessment for a diagnosis and that Pottergate's assessment wouldn't mean much outside of Pottergate itself.

I'm currently looking into her Father and I have reason to believe he is actually a fairly wealthy man if I'm on the right path and her parents live in an affluent area. In May 2017, she may have been staying with Jamie in Norwich which could explain the tile if you're onto something. @Lurk as a resident Brit what are your thoughts?

Honestly not got much I can add as I don't have a lot of personal experience with social housing. I do know that waiting lists to get a council property are astronomically long - unless your case is considered extremely urgent you will be placed on a waiting list which can take years depending on your circumstances. You are placed into a 'band' - Here's a list of the bands and circumstances for each one, for Colchester (though they are all pretty much the same everywhere in the UK). Anyone who doesn't fall under these criteria is placed in the lowest band and told to fuck off, basically. I know people who have waited years to be offered social housing, even with children. This might be because I don't associate with degenerates and they all have jobs to take care of their children and therefore sufficient funds to rent privately in the eyes of the local Council even when the rents are extortionate. The fact that Chloe was living with her parents in no immediate danger wouldn't place her very highly on the list. Their assets and salary would also have been taken into account for any welfare applications she made. If you or who you live with earn over a certain amount/have savings over a certain amount then it will greatly reduce the likelihood that you'll receive any benefits. If her parents are wealthy then I can see that easily putting her outside of the criteria for being eligible for welfare.

Since she no longer lives with her parents, then obviously her circumstances have changed and its likely she tried applying again. I find it very unlikely she'd get council housing still but its possible she'd receive disability/PIP now that she's living on her own which might then open up to other benefits like help paying her rent and council tax. It seems far more likely to me though as to where she is actually living, that it's rented privately and possibly an ex-council property (many were sold off across the country to private owners some years ago as someone already said) or maybe a former Shared Ownership property (built by housing associations which people can then pay a combination of rent/mortgage on until they eventually own it outright).

While I can't confirm this is true of a Psychology course or of University of East Anglia, it is worth noting that in the UK a lot of courses will only have coursework to hand in at the end of each term, with maybe a small presentation in the middle of the term at best. This means that the December deadines around the time of her trip to the lake may have been the first pieces of work she actually had to do.

If she can't handle that, chances are she couldn't handle going through the welfare system properly, not if she had the bank of Mum and Dad to fall back on anyway.
