Well yeah. Why else would you have him around other than use him as marketing? During The Tester, arguably the peak of his career, all the tags in the video were Egoraptor related. Because a very small audience cared about the show prior to Egoraptor showing up, and a small audience cared post-Egoraptor.
She’s also Mitsuri Kanroji in Demon Slayer, which was able to beat One Piece in manga sales in Japan even against main-stays like My Hero Academia and Boruto and is the most popular anime to be released recently. She’s going to be secure on that role alone for the next five years.
Arin, on the other hand, could never secure a role like that, his voice and reputation is too distinctive for that especially when fans watch the anime to see their favorite characters, not to hear the same voice that shrieks about Sonic taking a shit.

So, if you all remember from one of my previous posts, I brought up how Arin might start going back and retroactively changing old series' thumbnails in order for Ben to take the hint and stop doing a shit job, and that Super Mario Galaxy was only the start of this.
Well as it turns out, that's going into effect starting right now, as we speak in fact: Doom 2, Monopoly, Scarlett Mysteries, and Rocket League on Game Grumps and some select Ten Minute Power Hour thumbnails on The Grumps have all been changed by Arin.
And no, Arin didn't actually do the smart thing and change the thumbnails back to the recognizable "Grump Orange" of the original brand, he's still going for the stripe circle designs and/or adding really bad drop shadows to the added numbers, numbers he added because, shocker: you should never listen to MatPat's advice on anything ever; you kinda need those in your videos for people to identify what series it is and what episode it is. The only one I can kinda say for sure are a marked improvement are the Scarlett Mysteries thumbnails, because those fall more in line with the old Grump format that their fans are used to, albeit utilizing the Grump bodies over the Grump heads.
Why he choose to go back and only fix the thumbnails and not the titles on these series in particular, though, is anyone's guess.
EDIT: I take that back, Arin actually went and redid around 60+ thumbnails from even more series, so many from so far back that if I tried to list them all, I’d be here all night.

But watching Oneyplays lately I noticed they're playing a lot of online games lately, RE3 being an exception, and during the minecraft mod fuckery Tomar mentions Discord is fucking up. Oneyplays is meeting over Discord and Game Grumps has no excuse

game grumps has an excuse, do you think they could possibly figure out merging the audio and video from multiple different local recordings into one video and put that out on a daily basis? they're far too exceptional for that.

I'm pretty sure every decent youtube channel at this point has 30-40 soy boy faces and other premade logos and symbols and chibi characters to use for thumbnails. If an editor can't even put those together, or in GG's case, seemingly don't even have those for their editors to use, they're really not even bothering. Good Mythical Morning have an alarmingly low number of these, but at least they have a bunch of cut-out face pictures that they then add a hand holding food onto or something to make them unique, even when they reuse the same ones.
You'd think Arin, an artist, the 'man' behind the GG style, would sit down and draw 20-30 of these minis and get someone who can actually put them together. Thumbnails are the most factorized shit in YouTube at this point, and if yours don't stand out, whether by style or frame or template, you're a pretty shit person undeserving of any income you may generate.
