is he really campaigning for the rights of a video game character when he says "cloud doesn't want any of this to happen"

It starts at 51:27 if the stamp doesn't work.
And for comparison, here is the (entirely optional) super uncomfortable 90's-edgy gay scene that grievously upset Phil.
Right before the stamp on the Phil video is the scene with Reeve. Upon listening to it again, the way he says "Reeeeeve. That's a new character", I really get the impression that he has no idea who he is/that he was in the original. It's not the type of 'new' that suggests that he knows it's the remake's introduction of a (tangentially) core cast member.
He's very neat (minus the cords in his office)
This dude paused a playthrough for 10 minutes to explain why he doesn't like something. This is just Phil taking whatever it is he wants people to believe about him and taking it to the extreme like he always does. "Ewww that guy dancing makes me want to throw up."It starts at 51:27 if the stamp doesn't work.
He's referring to his own want to rub one out.is he really campaigning for the rights of a video game character when he says "cloud doesn't want any of this to happen"
It's clear he has homosexual thoughts, but he just for some autistic reason is afraid of just accepting that. If I had to guess it's autistic repression based on being called a faggot all the time at the arcades he creeped at with the FGC people he thought were so cool.I don’t know anything about Final Fantasy, but I don’t see what the big deal is about that scene. Also Phil called the guys in that scene as “oiled up” several times and they obviously aren’t. Shows you what’s on his mind..
He could've at least done a $14.88 tip.
Oh, man, you missed my favorite part of the rant.
That Final Fantasy was always family friendly before 7, and this 'anti-gay humor' was added to be edgy. Very short reminder of things that FF 6 (I remind you, Phils 'favorite') alone had: Mind-breaking torture, an octopus molesting women, stripping unconscious enemies naked, and the mass poisoning of a city.
What makes this rant even better is that, apart from the gay men scene Phil refers to (which is actually a back washing session.), the entire scene is shockingly positive about trans and gay folks in general. To the gym leader (Jules in this game) being a strong, respected trans woman, to Cloud's crossdressing reinvigorating a dress maker. Positivey fucking unheard of in the 90's.
I mean, I think it's probably the thing that's going to get the least amount of resolution compared to other issues that have their own thread. It's likely going to be a thread of people nitpicking small, small, small things that Phil says in order to extrapolate them. I guess I'm still new to the Farms but I don't find things that require a massive amount of reach (with little chance of being true) fun to discuss; just makes it all the more easy to dismiss.Do you all think that DSP’s deep seated repressed homosexual issues would warrant its own thread? Seriously, that rant earlier was his repressed side SCREAMING to come out...

I honestly bet Phil saw the scene. That was his FFVII experience and it echoed something in him that made him run far far away. Nothing he could do dude, bugged rpg mechanics.Correct.
In fact, it was pretty god damn well hidden, so, no fucking way Phil saw it as a kid. (You have one chance, and are never told, to go to a random NPC, who gives you an item that gives you a 50/50 shot of getting that scene.) The game makes a brief reference to sex, but only in the most puerile 'Does that feel good?' before cutting to the bathing scene to show that nothing was happening. The gangbang interpretation started as a joke, possibly from dumb 90's americans not understanding the 'washing anothers back in public baths' being a 'thing' in Japan, that just spiraled out of control due to people repeating what they were told without context, and eventually, 'funny videos' like TFS makes.
The fact that it's played the way it is at all in FF7 was and is still pretty transgressive in Japanese society, yet it still sticks as one of the most popular games of the series.
I'm starting to think Phil doesn't want to stream on PC in case there is something on his PC that he wouldn't want viewers to see. Nudes of leanna/kat, lewds of leanna were leaked before, a tiny little thumbnail with her hand over her boobs. But detractors still went mad at Phil claiming he leaked nudes of a minor.
What if he's worried about his SSN and other personal info, maybe the downloaded paypal statements to send over to Rochelle/Nancy, whoever popped up.
Or...something like a discord notification?![]()
DSP is definetly closet homo
