You found that funny? I'm not offended by her comment or thinking she should be pilloried for it, but I didn't think it was funny either. I agree that I wouldn't bat an eye if someone non-KV said it, but I'd just plop them in the "orange man bad" bucket, since it seems like a very "talking points" blurb conflating two complex issues.

Considering we're still going through a filler arc with nothing good nowadays. I found out some reddit bullshittery on the MHA subreddit, r/BokuNoHeroAcademia. It's nothing much, but something I found a year ago.
I'll say this before you open it, it's literally reddit anime subreddit bullshittery so it's a borderline nothingburger. Also people here who are in the anime community who know Ma'Cademia fandom, should know how this will go.

So one year ago, I was going through the MHA subreddit. Apparently a mod on their has been Anti-Vic before the BS started & made the whole subreddit an Anti-Vic circlejerk since the whole BS started.
Being biased against Vic before the BS
In the last year's daily discussion thread of 6th February, the mod had the same "cons didn't like him" & "he was a bitch to con staff" stories.
Apparently her friend was a staffer for a local con & who was 17 got into a back room with Vic & she hated Vic, & considered him the worst guest she ever handled. The mod says that they apparently met Vic themselves too & says that he was "more biased" towards his more loving fans, they admit that he was fantastic to his fans (even the haters can't lie about that), but shouted at some staffer at a escalator at a Sakuracon. The mod is also believes Pridemore.
1 week later (16th February 2019), the mod became more r3tarded & 90% of the subreddit became an anti-circlejerk.
Also, someone predicted the lawsuit in the same thread
Even afterwards, the mod just has a hateboner for Vic
1 month later, an AMA was about to happen on March 26th 2019 & the mod straight up said in the announcement post that Vic related comments would be deleted which, while ruins the very point of the 2nd "A" in AMA, tho it could be understood why.
But that's not the point, the point is the proof that the Anti-Vic Circlejerk was very high. It was shown when someone made an actual explanation without out "Gay Pants Lasagna Man Bad" BS & got downvoted to hell.
The mod brings the con story again, surprisingly consistent

So today, Shout Factory announced they will be putting out the release for Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna in Blu-ray/DVD combo pack and DVD on July 7th, 2020.
Why does this matter? Well Vic Mignogna voiced main character Yamato (Matt) Ishida in the six Digimon Adventure Tri movies before this. This release will have an English dub and Joshua Seth (dub voice for Taichi) is already announced as returning and the rest of the cast will be revealed soon.
Like the Tri movies, this will be primarily be voiced by LA talent, for example Johnny Young Bosch was Takeru (TK). It's also not affiliated with any anime studios like Viz or Funimation. So if there was ever a time where Vic might sneak in, it would've been this one but I don't have high expectations of that happening.

I just want to know if Derek Stephen Prince returned as Ken and Veemon as well as Brian Donovan for Davis (pleasepleasepleaseplease), Tifianie Christun as Yolei (probably not, so whoever was Biyomon for Tri could be her), and if Philece is still Cody or if he grew up too much. Neil Kaplan might still be Hawkmon, and who knows who's Amaradillomon (RIP Robert
).But I haven't even watched the sub of this movie yet because fuck Tri and fuck this movie's Japanese marketing, so I dunno, don't care. But who knows if Vic got to be Matt again here.
