This isn't even going into the "dress" code which is lacking, especially for a japanese school. I mean, I might be wrong but, aren't the male and female uniforms rather out-dated.
I assume the uniforms currently in game are what were in the asset packs Alex bought from the Unity asset store, so that's what the uniforms are going to be.

Another fix is to have the skirts be, ya know, skirts. The private school I went to had a minimum skirt length of below the knees. This middle of the thigh length skirt is inappropiate for teenagers. Especially at school, more so a private one. You'd expect to see yansim's school uniform more in fetish stuff rather than an actual highschool.

Isn't this school supposed to be elite? Tangent: why is this school so animu if we are supposed to take this world seriously? I mean this school was designed by "god" (the tots perfect high school girl) and her dad (the CEO who wastes valuable talent to stroke his ego) so why is it so incompetent? The dress code is lax. Half of the school building is wasted space. Worst of all, there is barely any concern for safety.
I mean, in a country notorious for suicide, the roof railings are very low. In a school that is privately owned there are little to no security cameras. There is a literal gang of students hanging out by the incinorator. There's an incinorator which students have easy access to. The school is severely understaffed, as there's only one gym teacher, who also acts as a plaground assisstant. The pupil population is extremely small. Especially for the size of the building the school uses.

To zero in on the size question, the reason is obvious. The school is so relatively big and the student population so relatively small because half of the rooms in the school are exclusively used by clubs. To see how ridiculous this gets, the science lab is actually less high tech than the science clubroom. What this means is that the single most advanced room in the entire building is not only not used for any educational purposes, it's only used for a few hours before and after school. It makes no sense unless you go balls to the wall "It's animu, I ain't gotta 'splain shit". What would make far more sense is something so painfully obvious that I don't get how Alex missed it: clubs congregate in classrooms after class is over. The science club meets in the science lab, the gaming club meets in the computer lab, the cooking club in the home economics class, the occult club can meet in pretty much any empty classroom et cetera.

Listen, "it's supposed to make you uncomfortable" is fucking horse shit. Doing immoral or questionable things in a game isnt supposed to make the player uncomfortable.

Does anyone feel uncomfortable murdering people in GTA or whatever other illegal shit? No, because those mechanics are well done and make sense within the game

Made an account just to comment here and showcase his comment deletion. As a test, I commented on his "playing games instead of working" video, and checked back a few minutes later (About six, I recall) on private browsing. Comment gone. I admittedly laughed. I screencapped the comment so it can't be hidden any further.

Forgive me if I make any failures in etiquette/file attaching, I just wanted to confirm he's still up to his criticism-deleting antics.

Considering I'm gay as fuck IRL I actually asked Alex that question a couple years ago on Reddit. God knows the answer still applies, but I figured I'd post it anyway

I've never understood why he needed to change "yandere kun"'s personality. Changing him from just an obsessed character to a manipulative rapey one seems like a bad idea and makes it hard to want to play as them. Though I will say if he's described as manipulative and sees the whole thing as a game and "Senpai" is the prize at the end...he is a far more interesting character than miss "no emotions, I just want him because plot"

He has had new uniforms designed. I remember seeing them like two or three years ago. And even back then his concept art for all the characters show them in the middle school uniforms. Why wouldn't he at least have them drawn in the correct one? It would give the impression it will be changed eventually.

The delinquents and the delinquent rival make no sense. They would be better off either written out, or placed in a new setting. Like he meets them in town or something. The story he has for them make very little sense and is just bizzar. This girl beat up a hang, helped these dweebs who were being bullied and now they all are "bad boys" because they want to be like her...and none of them are expelled because the councilor wants to rehabilitate them? That's Noble and all....but I would like this story and her character more of she did expel them and then constantly go visit and council them. I'm not sure how you'd write it in to make any sense with the actual story but at least it makes more sense.

Well, somehow being able to painlessly kill a random feral cat in the game made his fans chimp out PETA-style.
We're talking about a game in which you can kidnap, enslave, torture, brain wash, mutilate, pulverize and emotionally manipulate underage 18 year old girls, but people get all butthurt because you were able to cut the neck of a cat with a knife as an option (it wasn't a main part of the "game" in any way shape or form, just one possibility to progress through it), which tells you a lot about the priorities of Alex's fandom.

I assume the uniforms currently in game are what were in the asset packs Alex bought from the Unity asset store, so that's what the uniforms are going to be.

In 2014, Alex had introduced several uniforms among which the player could choose, including several that would make sense at a Japanese secondary school. The original assets from the Unity shop use one of these logical choices by default. Alex however liked the children's sailor suit the best, because of course he did, so he always used it in his videos and at some relatively early phase had removed the ability to choose one's uniform, while keeping such essential features as panty selection intact.

This shouldn't make me angry, but I can't help it. Why would you remove one of the few parts of Yandere Simulator that actually fucking works (and likely requires zero effort to maintain/keep in the game)?
Because Alex couldn't jack off to the other uniforms.

If he wanted to wank so badly to his own game, why didn't he make something else more revealing rather than the damned school uniforms?
Because Alex also wants to market the game to the stupid kids who give him money.

I think it's got to do with the players sensibilities /humor. I mean, GTA can be fun because its absurd to be able to commit violence like that. Yandere simulator tries to take itself seriously, and that's why panty shots can be creepy or tasteless instead of enjoyable like the violent aspects (sometimes).

Now, I dont believe it's too odd that people sperged about the cat.

Domesticating animals like cats and dog involves much more than their temperament. Dog breeds and domestic cats are much cuter than their wild ancestors and counterparts.

You ever have a dog give you the cutest whale eyes? That's not a mistake. Wolves literally don't have the eyebrow muscles to do that.

We infantilized them and bred the cutest ones for a reason.

Murdering a cat SHOULD give you the same gut reaction as killing a baby. So some people will feel worse about that than murdering an adult/teenager because we are hard wired to protect the innocent/defenseless.

Edit: if y'all wanna read more about it

While everyone is mentioning Dev's old youtube channel EvaXephon... Are we gonna completely skip over the weird ass videos like "Cheryl's Sexy PhotoShoot" and "Mikhail Peeing"? "Suicidal Cop in Watch_Dogs", "Sadism in FF14"
Like what

Edit since I just watched his "Why" video....

Its SO FUCKING "Oh woes me! I worked so hard today I deserve a break.. :( " God it infuriates me. Also the unnecessary death at the end. Damn way to treat your followers right?

So all that exploit fixing instead made the Osana elimination faster:

Expect Raiburu to be fixed to follow Osana at all times later (or at least fixing the bug about students walking into walls due to the time phone glitch). Also surprised how other students didn't even notice Ayano's bloody clothes.

No, you're right. Seifuku (the sailor-style uniforms girls wear in Japan) is pretty much regulated to only being used in middle schools nowadays. High schools use more Western-style plaid skirts or blazers for the girls' uniform. Iirc gakuran (the uniform male students wear) are mostly regulated to middle schools now, too, in favor of shirts/blazers and slacks in high school.

So yeah, it's pretty outdated. Not all high schools have transitioned to Western-style uniforms but seifuku and gakuran are typically associated with middle school.
