I was just thinking that I have no idea why so many people on a lolcow-watching website love Trump so much. Because he is undoubtably a lolcow.

• Not only never accepts criticism, but freaks out and whines on TV and social media when he’s criticized
• Demands that the people around him only praise him, surrounds himself with yes-men
• Believes that any negative attention towards him is due to a vast conspiracy against him (in his case, Fake News and the Democrats), not because of his own shitty behavior
• Openly engages in inappropriate and corrupt behavior and is shocked and upset when people call him out
• Extremely thin-skinned, can’t handle being made fun of (see his war with SNL)
• Completely out of touch with the lives and concerns of normal people (as much as people want to believe this billionaire champions the working class)

This is like saying we need to feel for the people who refused to get in lifeboats on the Titanic because they didn't believe the ship could sink (yes, there were these people). Is it sad they've lost their life? Yes, of course. Are their families mourning them? Absolutely. But at the same time, they had every opportunity to save themselves, they had people in their faces literally telling them the ship was sinking, and still chose not to.

The big difference is that the people willingly going out during this COVID crisis can (and probably are) unwittingly infecting others. That's where outrage from those of us who are staying home and following orders is warranted. We all want this to end, but it won't if people keep doing this shit.
