Germany can go fuck itself.
You'd think getting slapped down in two world wars would take care of that superiority complex. Maybe the third time's the charm for an attitude adjustment.

1st war happened because inbred Habsburgs just couldn't resist treating Southern Slavs like trash and Germany was bound to help them, despite Wilhelm being on record saying that what K.u.K doing is dumb.

2nd war happened because Western Allies couldn't resist squeezing every penny from the defeated nation, which led to the degeneracy during Weimar Republic, that poor populace absolutely resented.

If anything, the rest of the Western World could use a bit of an attitude adjustment.

I do enjoy how much you point out that "we" are not needed in a discussion revolving around why Spain needs "our" money.
:story:

Nice strawman! What I was answering to was his perception that german exports are somehow vital, while everyone else's exports are replaceable. A perspective that I will shatter since you've pushed me to spend the time and autism to write this shit.

As I said, this whole thing, to me, feels more like some people shifting blame away from their own politicians towards the EU and use them as both a scapegoat and a bogeyman.
Seems to me, Spain suffered tremendeous losses during the aftermath of the 2008 economic crisis, the collapse of its housing and banking sectors and was forced to modernise and restructure their economy. And since some of that stuff is not very popular, it's easier and more convenient to blame it on the mean EU than to acknowledge, that they are necessary and overdue. The ESM provided Spain with money to help them get out of the credit crunch when they became unable to trade national bonds, and ESM credits come with a very benevolent interest rate, far lower than what anyone else would offer.
Now, we see a continuation of this trend, complaining about help being insufficient, since it doesn't take the most desired shape.

I absolutely do not for a single fucking second blame the EU for Aznar. Fuck he's not even the worse, Montoro and Rajoi made him look nice. 2008 was far from the biggest fuckup in our arsenal. It's obvious you haven't seen the level of vitriol I, and many others, have for our dumbfucks in charge, and how much we critizice the housing bubble, the caixa bullshit regulation, and a million other issues. Protip, search for my username and the words "bubble" or "PP" and you'll see how I see that from my other posts. The only ones defending Aznar and Montoro are the most ultra of the ultrarightwing, and those idiots think Trump is a chinese opperative so the rest of Spain would rather not talk to them. The opinion of most spaniards I talk to, in both sides of the isle, is that our politicians are a neverending parade of failures and fuckups, which I have in prior posts compared to Israel's curse of having kings damned to disappoint them eventually.

But you seem to think it's either or. Either our politicians are idiots or your are assholes. Well, as I'm going to go ahead and prove at the end of this post. You've also done a lot of damage. And the thing is, don't forget, it was AZNAR that sold us to you, the same asshole that caused the bubble. Most people hated the idea of entering europe indeed between that and the Iraq war people were fucking protesting against the bastard and he was kicked as soon as the election happened. Our hatred for europe PRECEEDS joining you, and it's only grown, from day 1 it was only right wing globalists pushing the EU narrative, and only the PP licking your ass. And it's gotten way worse.

Wonder where that perception comes from. What motive would the EU have to keep Spain down? Do you really think the EU wouldn't welcome if Spain was economically stronger?

(...)

Your perspective on this seems to be that the EU is doing this exclusively to fuck with Spain (Italy and Greece, too, I guess), as if the EU had nothing better to do.
Why would the EU want these nations from becoming more prosperous?

Well you tell me after you read the end of this post. But for starters. No. If spanish economy wen't well, German economy would be going worse, because you depend on having cheap spanish imports and expensive german exports, that is the crux of your entire bloody economy, and the law reflects it, thoroughly and vehemently. Which is why you've raped the south repeatedly, and people have noticed this for a long time now.

All I see is a difference in opinions about how this should be handled and increasingly louder complains about how unfair it is.
How fair is it to accept nothing less than other nations taking responsibility for your own economy?

Anyone supporting Eurobonds is fiscally irresponsible. Spain is now demanding such bonds and they want to sneak them in via Corona-Bonds.
I do not see how anyone could think it's fair to force nations to pay off the debts of another nation.
The EU is offering help and they plan to come up with an investment strategy to mitigate the fallout from Corona.
As I said a couple dozen pages ago, seems to me Spain is mad that they only get a horse, when they strictly demanded a unicorn.
If that is enough to make them snap and leave the EU in a puff, so be it.

Victim-complex much?

Forget the sodding eurobonds you daft kraut. I never asked for them, ever, only one asking for that shit is Sanchez. What spain wants is legislative change in trade laws. What you don't seem to grasp is that the reason Sanchez pushes so hardcore for eurobonds is the fact that so far the only thing keeping people from being violent about their fight against EU legislation is the notion that the EU can rescue spain if it falls. We've endured years sucking your cock when we never even wanted to enter to begin with, and you've been sending your fucking inspectors, fining us repeatedly for millions at a time, and stifling our exports while demanding we cut restrictions on yours. And the ONLY thing keeping this shit together was the barebones notion that hey, at least we were semi-steadily getting out of the hellhole, and if things go to shit our overlords will be sending a bucket.

Sanchez has pushed hardcore the "united EU is needed to survive" narrative, and he knows Eurobonds is the ONLY way to ductape that shit together, because that is what you promised us when Aznar sold our soul. But we don't want that, what we want is to fuck your trade policies into oblivion, and we ain't subtle about it, we never really were, both Vox and Podemos were obvious about it during their electoral campaigns, and it sure as shit worked. Sanchez isn't screaming for Eurobonds because he thinks he needs them, but because he's scared of what will be pushed if they don't appear. You broke your word. Spaniards. Never. Forgive. That.

This kind of unreflected vitriol is what makes me doubt your words btw.

I'm doubting your words on one hand for your wording, which makes it pretty obvious that you are biased and thus your perception of what is going on might be biased too.
I do not doubt that people are mad at the EU (and as I said, I think a substantial amount of that is linked to playing the blame game), but I do doubt the extend and scope of it.
Then again, maybe people really need to vent and it's easier to trashtalk the EU than anything else? I mean, it has been the favorite pasttime of many nations that somehow still neatly line up to receive their subsidies.

If I'm wrong about the Spanish attitude and it is far more severe, which is very well likely I'll admit, and Spain does kick off Spexit in the near future, all I can say is:
So what?

I was never subtle about my bias and I have tried to aleviate it when aplicable. But you seem blind to yours. The funny thing is, if you check my prior posts, you'll see I am far from the radical side of the spectrum, because I give the devil his due, I prase anti-corruption EU measures and what they've cleaned from our institutions, I praised EU punishing Aznar for his deals with the so-called golden shares, I praised the implementation of bolsas. Many won't recognize that, or they'll simply state it was gonna happen anyway and the EU gets no props for it. So, let's now go into how you've enslaved us.

But how, well quite simply time and time again the European Commission just-so-happens to follow strictly the north's interests and just-so-happens to keep finding and punishing the south, by regulating products the south exports, and de-regulating products the north imports, and that's before we get to the trade partners! So let me illustrate it. I'll get 2 instances, one, a random monthly european declaration, two, the most candent current deal in spain.

So let's just get one random-ass example from the web. All I did was search for EU montly declaration and exports to get one related to that. And what I got is the monthly european decree from 07/2018. Here's a report on what matters to spain:

So let's see, matter 1 is germany's push for draconian internet legislation, which tries to fight cyberterrorism by basically being big brother. But since cybercrime is on the rise and this doesn't matter to spain specifically, I won't bitch too much, you certainly should though, that law is abhorrent. Also overreaching as fuck. Matter 2 I'll also ignore. It's fine really. I wonder why the fuck the EU thinks it's a country that can just force people to do things their way, specially when it doesn't actually affect them. But it's stuff we should've fixed ages ago anyway, so fuck it. As I said, to caesar what's caesars'.

Matter 3 is where I start the fun. So that's EU legislation against corruption through money laundring. On the one hand, I bitch endlessly about that shit and wanted this to be implemented ages ago, so props on that. On the other, most spanish businesses with heavy ties to corruption go to NETHERLAND banks because their legilsation makes even the usual fiscal paradises look fucking OK by comparison. So why oh why is europe slaming spain with yet more heavy economic fines and sabotagging our PIB while those fuckers completely disobey this very order? Because netherlands is your ally that's why, because the economic system is based on syphoning business from the south to the north, if the flux reverses you're not happy about it. So fuck you for fining us while letting Netherlands get away with that shit, you slaving bastards.

Matter 4: oh and here the fun starts.
1-Directiva 2005/36/CE, modificada por la Directiva 2013/55/UE. Link: https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/ES/ALL/?uri=celex:32013L0055 Those directives seek to "simplify" the way economic migration happens, in ways that just so happen to buttfuck graduates and specialist training and heavily benefit supposed field experience. Now, I wonder, oh I wonder, if this may have anything to do with how southern, and specially spanish graduates have been a massive migrant force that just so happens to incredibly benefit us on an economic level whereas supposed experts from the north have titles that can be counted as paper towels and keep getting replaced. I wonder if that has anything to do with this. Hilariously enough the reason spain didn't give a shit was simply that we barely even see any migration of experts, only low class migrants that get educated by us. So it's not like applying it affect us, but how interesting that european legislation would just so happen to be tilted that way.

2-Hmm, a law telling spain to open its borders to more construction iron. But we don't need construction iron though, indeed spain is one of the main exporters of iron for the EU (https://www.eaeprogramas.es/internacionalizacion/la-importacion-y-la-exportacion-en-espana), I wonder why the EU would want to sabottage those exports and artificially lower their price, specially when it would only benefit non-EU trade partners. And even better when it just so happens spain also relies heavily on exports produced with Iron such as cars, boats and replacement parts, now I wouldn't want those to be made with poor quality iron. Oh, wait, the north does have an advantage if the price of iron just so happens to go down, as they import it heavily. Don't they?! Hmmmmmmmmm. How interesting that european legislation would just so happen to be tilted that way.

Matter 5: This I will give heavy props towards. This law should've been passed much sooner, it's anticorruption stuff, it's nice. We really need to fix that shit. Not everything the EU does is bad, not everything the romans did was bad either, that didn't keep them from collapsing. Though for the sake of consistency I must admit many would pointedly ask if it's not a blatant overreach. I will admit that. I'm just extremely happy it's happening because fuck those money laundering bastards. As I said before, I'm of the segment of spanish population that admits the stuff the EU gets right. You should not worry about me. You should worry about the fact that even I am firmly on the anti-EU side despite that, because people get really fucking crazy over here about foreign entities telling us how to do things. Which is why we told aznar to keep it in his pants. He didn't, because he thought himself dictator. Funny how that goes.

Matter 6:

1-Directiva (UE) 2016/801, link: https://www.boe.es/doue/2016/132/L00021-00057.pdf hmm, a directive which specifically opens the floodgates to foreign students and "scientists" from outside the union, harming internal european migrants. So first they buttfuck our students by taking away their merit and artifically inflating that of your "experts" and then you open the floodgates to more competition, even worse competition from shiteholes with barely any actual training that just so happen to get counted as having proper diplomas despite not knowing how to tie their shoes. It's almost as if the north is more busy guaranteeing they'll have some kind of advantage on that field as opposed to actually trying to benefit the EU. It's ALMOST as if that's the case. Hmmmm. How interesting that european legislation would just so happen to be tilted that way.

2-And that last point is just a matter of privacy with planes and shit... Honestly I don't even give a single flying fuck. Again, interesting that the EU overreaches all the fucking time, because this isn't just some really bad month, this is how EVERY eu monthly bullshit looks to spain, just fines, trials conducted by absolutely biased judges no one here appointed, and more overreaches, time and time again, and we keep getting fucked for being too slow implementing that despite the fact that we're being asked to completely reshape our economy to fit the north's interests and against our own.

Let's then get into the trade partnerships and the second example. Shall we? So let's check the trade partners: https://pagina.jccm.es/europa/pdf/PUBLICACIONES/2017 Politica comercial de la UE.pdf that btw is a European Commission propaganda panflet, so you can't say I didn't go to reliable sources, it's literally what your guys say to us. Lets check that map shall we. Blue is the EU, Brown is the trade partners. Everything else is varying degrees of bullshit. Interesting then what industries have benefitted the most and which have gotten assraped the hardest. It seems the direct competitors of germany, like burgerland, russia and china, get yellow or nothing at all. (Not that I'm critizicing the assfucking of chink commerce, fuck those bastards) Meanwhile where are the competitors of the south? Morocco, South Africa, and the mines on the South American mountaines. Funny. ALL of that is dark brown, meaning we have some hefty tradedeals ensuring we import a ton of shit from them, despite the fact that they DON'T follow EU legislation and their prices are artificially lowered by the abysmal working conditions and safety procedures, not to mention horrid quality. It's almost as if certain industries would be getting sabottaged by EU legislation. It's almost as if it just so happens to be industries related to certain regions of europe. ALMOST. I AM SURE IT'S NOT BECAUSE OF ECONOMIC WARFARE. I AM ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN OF IT!

This has time and time again buttfucked spanish farms and mines, because we have to ensure our working conditions are fine, that our quality is up to snuff, that our exports and god damned great, and that makes production costs skyrocket. And we don't care about those regulations, because truth is, we like not having horrid working hours, unsafe conditions, and producing cheap chink garbagefires. But yet, instead of being consistent in ensuring the products entering the EU are of the quality you specify, you deal with foreign entities to ensure our market is flooded with cheap, third world, diseased garbage made by slaves. But god forbid we bought stuff from russian or USA industries, now that would be awful because obviously it's nowhere near as good as german products. And the result is we get routine mining and agriculture riots, and meanwhile what do you do?

You tell us to suck it up buttercup. You force us to import shit south american iron, diseased south african vegetables, and absolutely horrid drug fueled moroccan oranges and punish us with fines when we try to stop it, then claim that has nothing to do with our economy going to shit. It must be us that don't know how to do things. We must be the irresponsible ones. Obviously you've done nothing but help. How dare we even say anything against you.

And finally I wonder who are the actual strongest economic allies of spain, where the money keeping our economy afloat comes from: page 280 https://books.google.es/books?id=WWk9DwAAQBAJ&lpg

Fluctuates by year but It seems UK is the answer (And in 2011 france for some reason, then they went back to stabbing us again, now I have no idea how that happened.) Oh how weird that is isn't it? Those eeevil western powers that demand independence. Oh how they wished to destroy the EU with their trade negotiations, our poor poor central powers were sooo benevolent and yet those islanders just wanted to stifle our economy~. Yeah. We don't need you. And the USA has also ben raising investment consistently too. At this point our economy is almost exclusively Atlantic Powers based. How weird then that your own trade deal map shows Atlantic trade to be far less prioritized than South Africa and Morocco, which just so happen to compete with the south on everything we export. HOW. FUCKING. WEIRD.

But I'm sure spain is just delusional. You must be objectively right. You're german after all, and we're petulent children who don't know what's best for them. How dare we ask you keep your end of the deal. We're so evil for it. What you don't seem to grasp is that the spanish farmers, miners and lower classes are as of this point convinced that they are already at war with germany, this is what Sanchez is trying to quash with the fucking eurobonds. That's why he's so desperate. Because spain does everything by root entrepeneuring, people don't wait for government oversight to start acting, and that includes violence. Before franco the spanish military was led mostly by militas, after franco they became illegal guerrillas but they never went away, and as of right now they have been disarmed, but they never stopped existing. I assure you, what I wish for, is for our trade regulation to stop buttfucking us, and what I hope is that it can be achieved in smooth, peaceful ways, I honestly don't care about spexit if the EU could be reformed, so long as it stops raping us I wouldn't care about having a blue flag flying aside ours. But I do hear a lot of stuff from the farmers and healthcare professionals, and I know some think escalation is inevitable and indeed beneficial. THIS is why I try to warn you, THIS is why I'm so offensive, and THIS is why Sanchez is so desperate. Because we don't want to have to deal with what'll come if the rearmament actually escalates.

You have met girls in NY bars who DON'T have abhorrent personalities and politics?! Where?!
1) Go to the airport in NY
2) Get the fuck out of there.
3) Fly to Baton Rouge, LA
4) Most any establishment (bars, coffee shops, delis, bookstores, malls, parks, etc.) within a 5 mile radius of LSU campus

For serious? Cause I always got a lot of shop towels around for car work, and as an aspiring Mean Old Man I carry a handkerchief and have a stack of 'em on the dresser.

Though for the day to day in my Mask Law state I just rock a bandana. Need to get some diff colors though for style.
For reals.
Turns out the power of Autism reaches even into sewing shops.
