Ahsoka beats Maul's ass twice, second time unarmed, at least with Grievous and Ventress they were toying with her, Maul was trying to kill her when she was unarmed and Ahsoka then swiftly bested and captured him making Maul cry like a little bitch. I don't understand why people think Filoni Wars Maul is a big improvement over him in the Phantom Menace.

I was under the impression that they scuttle the project since I've seen little news about since it was revealed over 5 years ago but apparently they announced the director of 28 Weeks Later and one of the Game of Thrones writers for the project back in 2018, so I'm of the mind its either gonna be a bland adaptation or a shitshow.

In Space Aladdin Darth Maul got bested by a freshly blinded Kanan Jarrus which is a little less worse than Boba Fett being defeated by a blinded Han Solo. Ahsoka at this point in Filoni Wars should be rusty she hasn't fought with lightsabers for like six months, and hasn't really practiced much with the force, trying to hide it and all. Darth Maul might of been toying with her in their first duel but definitely not their second.

Having Maul talk so damn much takes away from what made him intimidating. He was a living weapon who was forced into that vicious yet sorry state after years of vicious and cruel training at the hands of Sidious since childhood. Sure you can have him talk more now that he's free (especially in novels where dialogue is almost a necessity), but making him talk every chance he gets even when it isn't necessary takes away from what made him one of the few well received elements in Episode I.
Also since when did Ahsoka know about the chosen one prophecy? I thought only the members of the Council knew.
Best parts of the prequel trilogy (that aren't memes) are when characters know to shut the fuck up.
You know what would have been interesting? Had grievous been a recovered Maul with very little left of him after falling down that shaft. There's very little reason not to and it would have added more weight to his battle against Obi-Wan.
According to Wookieepedos, she's 31 in Rebels, then 41 when Filoni turns her into literal Gandalf for some fucking reason (this happens shortly after ROTJ). However in this current season of Filoni Wars, Ahsoka is only 17 years old.

The Darth Plagueis audiobook was one of the best tracks to listen for me to tbh. Problem is that Disney is wasting audiobooks on shit like this. There's also a Plan IX one I believe.
