I believe Eric Weathers' Flying Fortess is over 200+ pages for $30. Tennaple's books are $25 tricked out hardcovers in the 160 page range with tuns of extra swag.

Not sure if anyone else people associate with CG/exCG is offering a decent page count/extras that make it worthwhile but Tennaple and Weathers would be two anyway.

Jason Brubaker offered his entire Sithrah comic as a 6-Hard cover-book series for 99 + 10 shipping. That's over 1000 pages. He's unaligned, but has appeared to chat with a few people on occasion.



Bigfoot Bill 2 surpassed the $$ of the first campaign. He's 1000 backers behind it, but still has another 60 days to go for the indemand portion. A significant amount is likely from the new edition of BFB1, which may mean many aren't return backers from the original campaign.

I'm sure Barack Obama Comics Gate will take credit for the success regardless.

Preston's getting the negative exposure he was looking for. Those numbers are huge for Poulter considering his own view counts and JSG's audience being more than just CG.

It looks like Poulter's KS campaigns top out around 230-280 backers right now and far less on IGG. I wonder if he'll pick up any new backers from JSG's audience at all. I've never been a big believer in negative press being good for business.

He should send JSG a thank-you card regardless if he's looking to fuck with him.

The funny thing is, in that video, JSG mentions that ComicsGate is a common word/phrase, and that somehow doesn't fly with being able to trademark it. Umm... I'm pretty sure my mother, my father, my best friend, my cousins, my long dead ancestors, and my community gatekeeper have never uttered the word "ComicsGate" in their life as much as they've said... I don't know, "Tuesday"? It's a word that belongs in the niche of the comic book medium, and the word is only used by the bottom barrel of the people in said niche. How is it a commonly used word? It's funny because JSG accuses Preston of having not read the book and just waving it around, but I don't see a way he can ever come to that conclusion, unless the fucker can read people's minds through an internet video. He basically wanted Preston to cite an example, and since Preston didn't (and he shouldn't, because this is a case he has to fight if someone wants to challenge him, why give them ammo?), JSG fucked himself by thinking he's smart to read out portions of shit he has no clue about. And he says Preston is cherry-picking. If anything, it's JSG who is cherry picking something very broad and trying to apply it to Preston.

I happen to have some experience with the law, but that's one of the best examples of an armchair lawyer I've ever seen. JSG, what do you know? You're just white knighting.

All of this guy's arguments are so broad, yet he tried to apply it to the specificity of this situation. Might as well call this dude Just Some Drunk now.

-Bigfoot Bill 1 was funded to the tune of $103,520 by 1817 backers, it closed indemand with $196,546 by 3364 backers.
-Bigfoot Bill 2 was funded to the tune of $224,985 by 2472 backers, it has yet to enter indemand but Doug has indicated that it will.
-Bigfoot Bill 1 gained an additional $93,026 and 1547 backers while indemand.
-The average price per backer was $58.42 during Bigfoot Bill 1
-The average price per backer currently is $91.02 during Bigfoot Bill 2
-Bigfoot Bill 1 was 96 pages for $25, the price per page was $0.26
-Bigfoot Bill 2 is 160 pages for $25, the price per page was $0.16

Looks like Doug has done quite well for himself, he improved on his backer count and amount raised at the same time. He will have to get another 892 backers during indemand to match his backer total once indemand ends.

I put him on a list of people I might back when I finally find a product worth my money, but just for his attitude alone, I might be reconsidering it. I didn't like his constant "I offer good story writing" shilling for himself, because usually, you don't need to try THAT hard if your product is interesting, but seems to me like he just wants to be "part of the club" like he was when he was in ComicsGate, and seems to be looking to Preston and his CG as a replacement for that.

Does anyone have a breakdown on his work? Is it actually as "good" as he claims? Or is it better than CG, but not something you'd shed a few bucks for?

Peter is a fairly chill guy, so I'm gonna assume it was one of JDA's twitter sperging that finally made him unfollow. Probably could have gotten on one Peter's interview streams if he relaxed a little.

I love Peter. Gives JDA the most minimal of attention and the slut keeps asking for more.
JDA doesn't recall that Peter was never against blocking or un-following, just that his people shouldn't block-chain entire sections of customers. If JDA was being annoying in the chat (which I have seen him be on numerous occasions) then Peter has the right to ban him from the chat for however long he deems necessary. It's like the time Nerdrotic called out Miller for constantly posting links to his funding campaign in the chat.

He's also been doing fine for years, even when he was more neutral, anyone on Anti-CG or CG side was supporting him for being a GOOD BUSINESSMAN.
