I mean the problem here is the dilution of what being a lesbian is. You have all these young adults who're trying to be hip and cool and progressive and call themselves all the labels of gay, when they really aren't. Then they will date a troon because the troon is the soft middle ground, have the genitals they are actually interested in but still part of that progressive stack. So you've got little Miss Lesbian proudly proclaiming her lesbian-ism dating a MTF troon because she's so progressive and making all the proper comments about 'girl dick', 'lesbians' etc when in reality that still see their partner as what they are, a man, in private.

You can look at the lesbian subreddits and see exactly what is happening and why Contra thinks this because soon enough all the actual lesbians will no longer have a space or voice. They're not really a large sexual orientation at the end of the day and most of them are already limited in potential partners so, unless something shifts the meaning of 'Lesbian' will go the way of the dinosaur as it's use and identity is inappropriately co-opted. It'll just be a bunch of hetero or bi girls pretending they're lesbians for the troons.

From reading the sub, them 'not wanting nipples' really just seems to be a cope. Some FtM surgeries either they can't save the nipple, or the surgery to keep them involves a further/more complicated operation. (or afterwards it becomes gangrenous and rots/falls off)
They don't want the extra hassle of more surgery, probably because they're already in a lot of pain.

I'd be shocked seeing a woman's nipples in public, because that's illegal. But that's all it is, illegal, it's considered inappropriate by the standards of society, but its not by any means unnatural. How can one live with such horrific scars that isn't even from an accident? It's like paying money for someone with a rusty knife to slash your face and leave a nasty scar for the rest of your life. Its atrocious, just why?

I don’t even understand why the scars are so hideous. It does seem like the fatter they are the worse the scarring, so perhaps it’s a few things.

First, being overweight can make it harder to heal due to blood sugar problems.

Second, with an overweight woman, trying to get all the breast tissue and fat means you gotta go like...waaaay around the sides. Because the base of the breast really kind of expands around there on big women. So maybe the reason they look like they were sawed in half at the breastbone is that they really were because they had so much to remove in so many locations, like when a fat woman lies down and her boobs relocate to under her arms, surgeon has to dig dig dig.

Finally, being a troon means having hygiene issues and people who can’t even be trusted to bathe aren’t going to take care of their wounds.

Consider. You are a doctor who preforms surgeries for Breast reduction or Breast removal. One is for quality of life, the other is usually under one of the worst possible circumstances for a woman -breast cancer. You are then handed a consult on a young girl who hasn't even lived who wants her perfectly healthy breasts removed for incredibly dubious reasons. Maybe that completely needless surgery postpones surgeries that you consider far more important. Would you put as much care into your work knowing the one on the table is doing this when they don't have a genuine underlying problem? Probably not. You're gonna do it fast to move on to work you deem far more important.

Couple that with a ton of FTM being overweight and/or messed up people who don't take care of themselves and you've got the perfect recipe for a nasty scar.

Considering you're a woman there's probably a psychological aspect too. Even though you had a needed breast reduction your breasts are still an innate part of you and play a huge role in your femininity. Your brain looks at this horror and knows it was done to healthy breasts and mentally recoils at the thought that someone would do this to themselves to try and convince the world they're a real boy.
