I made that same comment in the General DSP thread a few months ago and got quite a few people pissed.

At this point, Tevin has become as opportunistic as Dark when it comes to providing low effort content for maximum revenue. It's become lazy commentary; nothing relevant or new is being said; he even stopped doing the non-stream videos which were truly what defined Tevin.

I don't entirely blame the guy because I do believe watching trash content like DSP's every day for years must have some form of psychological impact but I don't feel bad for a guy who is profitting from trash content while shitting on it at the same time. I believe the use of the word "hypocrite" is what caused a bit of an issue. But I still stick to what I originally said.

Has anyone here watched a tevin mixer stream? If you find him boring, it's not because of DSP content. THat's just how he is.

How does 2 amendments to the original filing look to the court. Especially if it's still wrong.

Maybe someone already suggested it while skimming through the thread (or it's already happened), but is there any chance that @actually could prepare a quick 1-2 page summary of the monthly income tracking data to Nick? Doesn't have to be very in-depth, something like "In October 2018 we estimated a range of $x to $y." or "The initial bankruptcy filing perfectly aligned with several of my estimates for the last x months." would be enough. I want to see Nick realize that Phil has been making six figures for years and still has all this debt.

First post here has every month's estimates going back to 2018. Soapqueen compiled some of the initial months, and at least one month has tips missing, but it generally covers things.

First post here has the comparison of the 6 months of income DSP listed (July - Dec 2019).

I think the bigger issue is amendments mades after stating "everything in the documents previously filed are true and honest".

Especially after Nancy James got him to say that in person and under oath, and the changes just keep coming.

It's obvious that Phil still isn't taking this seriously.

It's looking more and more like he's headed straight to pound town as his shit gets pushed in the way only the federal government can.

@LyteSydeByll, Nancy tried to figure out if his business is actually a separated entity and it seems like the conclusion was: Not really. The new update seem to confirm a shared use as he lists his "other" stuff as electronics for business purposes in a personal bankruptcy.

I'm not familiar with US law. The stuff Phil is doing as a job seems to require a registered business, especially for tax purposes (everyone remember his years long and ongoing backtax problem, his tax guy filled his taxes wrong, nothing he could do).

1. Could the bankruptcy court ignore his pseudo separation of personal and business and make the whole business liable?

2. Could they make Burnell Productions go bankrupt?

I'd say no to 2, Phil hasn't filled out the papers to declare bankruptcy on his business, so they can't jump this far and throw him under the bus.
3. But it may be enough reason to dismiss his entire case? Because it's a mess without direction?

And this is an optional question:

4. Assuming Phil loses his business due to the bankruptcy, could he just register a new one? If not, is he fucked? No more making money with livestreams?

Yes. Don't want to get too in detail, but I have worked for a company that technically went "bankrupt", but instead of completely shuttering, they killed off the old company and started a new one. Most employees only knew because paychecks went from "Company X" to "Company Y".

Government doesn't care how many businesses you open and run, so long as you pay your taxes and properly file the registration paperwork.

It already is.

2. Could they make Burnell Productions go bankrupt?

No, because there's no such thing as "Burnell Productions." It has no separate legal existence from one Philip Paul Burnell. Even if he had created an LLC he probably hasn't done enough to keep their finances and property separate for it to protect him.

It is just a fictional name he calls himself, not even a sham corporation.

It took Tevin not willing to stream with Nick for people to finally admit what's been obvious for over 2 years, Tevin is only doing Phil shit for easy money and he's basically turned into a much nicer likable beggar than Phil.

Personally I think his little beef with SOK back in the day made him hesitant to engage in any kind of "detractor community" stuff.

Something I'd like to hear Nick discuss is the lifting of the stay and specifically, whether he thinks MidFirst can actually get a deficiency judgment immediately after the foreclosure sale or if they have to wait.

The order (drafted by MidFirst itself) says this:

1587875521852.png1587875530820.png

It doesn't say anything about anything further. They obviously retain the right to pursue a deficiency judgment at some point, but so far as I can tell, it would be subject to discharge just as any other unsecured debt would be.

It's too bad, tevin is the only remotely entertaining streaming personality in the Dave universe.

Theres a guy called Mannix, british dude who is pretty entertaining when it comes to DSP but he doesn't upload nearly enough. Its a decent shake up compared to those who just stream for hours talking about DSP who I got bored of quickly.

The stream will be at 5am UK time

I don't recall him ever asking for money.

Tevin streams got boring because there isn't really much to talk about with Phil. He has probably covered basically every video Phil and Panda has done. All there is is the streams and he's not a legal expert like Nick so there is no reason for him to stream about that. Basically the only thing going on with Phil right now is the bankruptcy. What exactly would Tevin do in a stream with Nick besides recounting things that Phil has done just like pretty much anyone else here could do?
