Notice that they never pull that shit when the game's actually good. You saw none of this "entitled" shit when Doom Eternal dropped, because Doom Eternal went out of its way to please diehard fans of the series. Even when the game got delayed, the developers apologized and offered more stuff to the players to make up for the longer wait.

Meanwhile this game has been revealed to be a steaming pile of shit and rather than attack the developers, people attack the gamers for just wanting something good. That's just fucked up.

But, instead of dogpiling, let's play a thought experiment:
