I don't recall him ever asking for money.

Tevin streams got boring because there isn't really much to talk about with Phil. He has probably covered basically every video Phil and Panda has done. All there is is the streams and he's not a legal expert like Nick so there is no reason for him to stream about that. Basically the only thing going on with Phil right now is the bankruptcy. What exactly would Tevin do in a stream with Nick besides recounting things that Phil has done just like pretty much anyone else here could do?

Look, Nick just wanted to get people of his own race into the stream. That is why he sought Tevin for his stream.

If possible might be interesting if there was a point at the stream, where Nick would address DSP directly, like "Phil, if you are listening..." and say something from the heart, what he truly thinks about Phil.
Dunno why but for me that is a fascinating idea.
Especially cause Phil would have to hear what a real mature adult thinks of him :stress:

Only thing that would be half-interesting, is Nick's take on transformative works in regards to something like Tervin's restreams, TIHYDPs, etc. A lawyer, on record, stating Paul has no basis for his complaints of criminal actions being taken against him, would be kind of funny. He's more-or-less addressed all the bankruptcy related stuff, and I dunno what a collaborative stream would add to that. Could just read some of the questions lifted directly-from this thread.

Theres a guy called Mannix, british dude who is pretty entertaining when it comes to DSP but he doesn't upload nearly enough. Its a decent shake up compared to those who just stream for hours talking about DSP who I got bored of quickly.
Most of Mannix's content rips off posts from here word for word.

I don't wanna bog Nick down in deep lore, but if possible make sure to highlight things like how he bought the first midunit condo he could find, how he refused to rent the OG condo because they wouldnt communicate strictly by email, and other things that highlight his stupendous laziness.

If the bankruptcy gets discussed instead of just general matters also make sure to point out Phil is double dipping business and personal expenses of the same amounts (a source of a ton of confusion).

Also for the love of god ASK WHAT IT MEANS BY ASSET CASE. Because the speculation of that change is running wild as to whether they can/will snag his house and even if Rekieta doesnt do bankruptcies I'm dying to know what that means. Like even if Nancy could take the house is that common to do in chapter 7? Like maybe its an ethics thing to not take houses if you can avoid it idk. I just wanna have an actual lawyer explain what the 'asset case' part mesns.

on Phil's recent amended application where he claims exemptions, Nick could probably advise whether the items DSP claims are exempt are actually covered under the statutory exemptions. He could check the seattle law.

DSP claims his video game collectables are exempt, specifically under 6.15.010(1)(d)(ii), which seems to be by arguing that they are community property with his spouse. Doesn't sound right to me

god damn proper shitting up the stream with his poundland mic

Keeping the SoK spirit alive. Gotta have at least one fucked up mic.

Good stream though, only watched a few minutes but Rekeita laughing about the persona 3 incident is a good sign.

If someone checks this during the stream remind Rekeita DSP tried to make his own branded TIHYDP KOCC videos that were god awful.

Okay, Nick says MidFirst will NOT want to get a lien, because they would be a junior lienholder and, even if the WAkondo gets sold and fully satisfies the WAkondo property mortgage holder, the junior lienholder's interest could be extinguished. So their position is actually better as an unsecured creditor. So they get the deficiency judgment and then DON'T file a lien.

Pretty good stream. I gotta say Nick does a good job massaging a logically laid narrative from his guests. I think that's his real strength. Might just be the lawyer in him. Things started out a little all over the place but not too hard to follow and he hit on the right key points to ask for clarification. Conclusions for the bankruptcy are what @AnOminous said and that if he actually has property in excess of what he claimed he will still be protected up to the statutory limit. I think Nick also was speculating that based on the trustee's comments we are most likely looking at a conversion to chapter 13.

Also the court is going to be pretty apprehensive to kick someone out of their primary residence, even if it is the only asset worth taking. The thing I think was missed here is that it wasn't stressed that Phil is well over the exemption with a proper property valuation. While a creditor could request an evaluation I would think the trustee would do one on her own if she is investigating the existence of assets since its the only real asset on the table. The fact that Phil already has another condo he could go live in instead of be foreclosed on seems to me to be something that should work against the "can't kick him out of his only home" factor but the burden of having to move cross country again might not make that a valid argument.

The court couldn't care less if it's over the exempt amount. They have no discretion to say "well fuck the law, you creditors are entitled to the money but I just don't feel like following the law because poor, poor pigroach."

I tuned into the stream and they are halfway through the Emergency Room video at the part where Phil is wrangling a turkey sandwich out of the ER nurse. Nikky pauses the vid and says 'Just leave and go to a restaurant like a normal human being! Go to Subway for 15 minutes and bring back some sandwiches.' Then @Proper Pangolin says 'Oh no, Phil is done with Subway, he will not eat at a Subway,' and I can tell the stream is in good hands. Made me laugh right off the bat
