Olivia Nuzzi? Flashback 7 years ago:

Anthony Weiner's communications director trashed [Olivia Nuzzi] Tuesday in a shocking, profane rant published by a news blog.

Barbara Morgan said Tuesday night that she thought she was "off the record" when she repeatedly called Olivia Nuzzi a "slutbag," "twat" and "little cunt"
I think she was on to something.

Morgan was reacting to a column Nuzzi wrote Tuesday exclusively for the Daily News. The college student wrote that some Weiner staffers signed on to the sexting scandal-starred Democrat's campaign because they thought it might help them land future work with Hillary Clinton.
Ah, so that's where Nuzzi's heart lies.

"You know what? Fuck you, you little cunt. I'm not joking, I am going to sue her," Morgan ripped back to Talking Points Memo Tuesday while calling Nuzzi a "fucking slutbag" who repeatedly didn't show up during her four weeks as an intern.

"Of those twenty days, she missed probably five because she would just like not show up and not tell me she wasn't going to be there," she told the blog. "She sucked. She like wasn't good at setting up events. She was clearly there because she wanted to be seen."

From her Wikipedia page:
In November 2016, Politico named Nuzzi one of the "16 Breakout Media Stars" of the presidential election.[12] In December 2016, Mediaite listed Nuzzi as one of 2016's twenty-five "most influential" people in news media.[13] In 2018, Forbes included Nuzzi on its annual 30 Under 30 list.
So, she sucks a mean dick.

That explains everything. What a telling resume.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is popping over to the White House tomorrow - just a day after taking Florida's failing Unemployment benefit system off for the weekend, putting it back up only to render a good amount of people who applied ineligible for payments they've been waiting weeks for.

Now to be fair, he inherited a turkey of an online system for benefit filing that is truly awful. But his office and the FLDEO itself have been awful at actually communicating what those issues are and how they are affecting claims. Rumors going around that the system literally 0'd out a bunch of people's annual wage earnings as a bug, to Florida deliberately doing that to push more people onto the state assistance program (when a lot of people should be getting state and federal funds)

I assume part of the reason he's there is to celebrate Florida managing to flatten the curve, and reopening plans - but lord I hope Trump gives him a proper dressing down for how he's managing the unemployment side of things. Because his antics could potentially cost Trump when it comes to the election.

I know, it really is idiotic even by dirtbag leftist standards.

China makes sense on a certain level despite their appalling human rights record since they are known for economic prosperity and the PRC is the main economic and geopolitical rival of the United States and the only one who can come close to matching the United States in power.

The fact that for most of the late 2000's and all of the 2010's, most of the experts kept predicting that China would be the one to supplant the United States in the world order did not help things.

Really, the one good thing that has come from this pandemic is that it got the masses to start to finally seriously question China's role in the world order. The fact that Silicon Valley and all the major media outlets are stanning for them is only making matters worse and raising more suspicion of the PRC.

Germany and the EU also make sense to idolize because of their social democratic welfare states and the fact that leaders like Merkel and Macron are every bit as self-loathing towards their own countries as most SJW's are.

There's also the hate speech laws and strict gun control laws, as seen with the UK.

Germany and Sweden in particular have very draconian hate speech laws and also criminalize wrongthink, albeit in a less visibly heavy-handed way than China or North Korea does.
It's supposed to be some sort of "own". As in "Haha drumpf so stupid he makes Kim Jong Un look good".

The interesting thing is that the RNC seems content to always pay the same amount, calculated for interest. This means they have continued building up the warchest since they don't turn any surge of donations into a surge of advertising. An observor might note they now have enough to do a similar, Dean style push while at the same time having enough to defend themselves come the election after.

Political theorizing time: The RNC is setting up to do a Dean Push in 2024. The reason they did not do it in 2016 is due to lack of faith in Trump at the time, and the reason they won't do it in 2020 is faith in him and not wanting to waste the money on a weak opponent.
So the right-wing party in the USA is... conservative with their spending? Maybe it isn't all theatrics then.

What's really fucked up is it turns out every state is completely dysfunctional in the same way. After decades of considering the civil service as a welfare program, Hawaii state officials were shocked to find out that the people they hired to process unemployment eligibility haven't actually been working. Not only have they not been working (because nothing is getting done) they don't even know how to tell when they ARE working!

The State was forced to admit that they don't manage their employees at all and literally cannot tell which of them have submitted their work each work day or not. Nobody knows who's responsible for what.

Yeah, I think at this point it's not going to change anyone's minds a whole lot on the election for President. I think anyone who was going to vote had already made up their minds for Trump, #BlueNoMatterWho, or abstaining by the time Biden's rape train really came into the station. Biden's, or rather whoever they sub in for him once he's finally allowed to fall over, numbers won't alter significantly.

The place this is really going to hit is in the more general Republican/Democrat divide. The absolute and open hypocrisy the Democrats are displaying from the top down, not just congress and the media, but their more outspoken voters just outright saying "I don't give a FUCK if he's raped anyone, he's not Trump!" That's where it's going to start pushing some of the undecideds away from the Democrats or motivating more to come out for the Republicans. The presidential election won't be affected as much, but the trickle-down effect on the more contentious and swing elections will be more pronounced. The left's gotten tunnel visioned on the Presidential battle and is setting themselves up to lose the wider war instead.
The big question is, will anyone who isn't a political junkie even hear about this stuff? Most people will be so insulated from these types of stories that the only way they'll encounter them is by finding some Trump fan or Tim Pool sperging out about it, which can easily be dismissed as "alternative facts". It would come off like schizo ramblings, because it's an entire ecosystem of information that they're usually cut off from, and therefore don't have the ingrained suspicions and background knowledge inclining them to say "yeah, that makes sense".

It's much like with Kavanaugh, Democrat partisans thought everyone would believe it because in their feminist narrative the world was ruled by stereotypical frat boys ever since the patriarchy was invented, who ensured that their college-aged brethren would rape with impunity (the "rape culture") , and only now with the rise of the metoo movement has the long-overdue reckoning for this social dynamic began enabling women to come forward without committing social suicide. To them Kavanaugh was exactly this type, the truth of the accusations was a foregone conclusion. But to people who didn't share this background mythology it looked like a last-minute political hit job (which it probably was).

"I will vote for literally anyone that isn't Trump. Also I really don't understand why the DNC just unilaterally picked someone I didn't like."

Watching people reconcile TDS and #Believe is sure as hell something.

Good fucking grief.

Comparing a pandemic to the fucking casualties of the Vietnam War is such a galaxy-brained, cunty thing to say if only because World War II is becoming "obsolete" now so you can't get a big "oomph" out of it, and you can't bring up the Civil War anymore without autistic screeching at this point. Also the War on Terrorism didn't conjure up enough bodies for them to use that statistic and it happened under Bush anyway and Obama oversaw Bin Laden's death, so it's all good.

For a group of people who like to rag on "Make Love, Not War", they sure love bringing up wars a lot to parade the loss of lives around (American lives in this case).

This is often inserted as part of public employee union negotiations. They want no way of being able to evaluate employees on their work outside of an assumption that they always should get raises. Public employee unions are usually every bad stereotype about unions in general because they're negotiating with themselves rather than an employer.

That "Trump allies" part is what really gets me about the second headline, because you know they just put that in there to prime anyone who still trusts the Washington Post to dismiss the Biden allegations out of hand.

Before they changed it to blaming "Trump allies", The Wapo headline was even more ridiculous:
"Developments in allegations against Biden amplify efforts to question his behavior"

That headline writer really worked hard to avoid saying anything...

This is like a repeat of the Sarah Palin "I can see Russia from my porch" thing. It's not what she said but it's what they repeated over and over till it became an unshakeable article of faith to the Left. I remember a conversation with someone who was adamant she said it. Went back and forth and I ended up actually finding the original comment, would take them literally ten seconds to hear it and they refused because they "didn't need to see it." The utter smugness of people like this is unbelievable. They just cannot admit they are wrong. Literally cannot.

This whole thing is a good example of confirmation bias. I'll bet anything these people had already been told by the media that that was what Trump said and have terminal TDS so they watch the clip expecting to hear what they've been told was said, not what was actually said.

Good fucking grief.

Reminds me of an interview with the Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd I saw on ABC once. The (female) interviewer was trying to come off as hard hitting asking the tough questions but ended up looking like she was acting out her daddy issues live on National TV. She may as well just screamed "Fuck you, dad!" at him.

What they will do when the Vietnam War will become "obsolete" as well?
