Step 1 : Open your door
Step 2 : GO THE FUCK OUTSIDE

UK can make the check out to "The guy wearing clown make up and an Elvis wig but is still smarter than us."

It's not that simple. Going 100% back to normal immediately just results in being flooded with diseased wuhan bugmen and having another massive spike. You gotta control your frontier, and take mass gatherings of sandniggers into account, etc. Basically, while for rural areas without too much action it can be done by just not caring like that, for dense areas with ample comunication with other countries you need to go gradually and checking for spikes. That's not to say you can drag your fucking feet forever like the fucking democrats. But you can't just go and say "lockdown over, party time!" Unless you just wanna watch london burn. (Bridge included.) There's an intermediary here.

Well you see, as far as I am concerned, based off the numbers I have seen you can do exactly that.

This thing is exactly 0% dangerous to the vast majority of the world and the entire panic surrounding it is bullshit so..to me it is that simple. There never should have been a lock down in the first place, we should have told the small % of people who are actually at risk to hunker down for a month and the people close to them take care of them. The entire situation is an absurdity that will be looked back at and laughed about.

Anyone that is more knowledgeable about the situation is free to correct me.

Regarding the first article, I believe Anders Wallensten (FHM/Public Health Authority) has stated that gap between their assessment of deaths and Socialstyrelsens/The National Board of Health will narrow as time passes. The deaths that FHM count are all confirmed, whereas Socialstyrelsen also counts the deaths of persons that have been evaulated by doctors to be infected with the virus.

The second article is locked and I haven't had the patience to thoroughly read through the seemingly Google-translated version that was posted, but the second article seems to have to do with the symptoms of people infected with the virus.

The FHM/Public Health Authority hasn't cancelled/cut anything, except for the data gathering or an app(?) on Corona symptoms and infections, as it apparently has to be made available for everybody in the country, not just 1 or 2 regions.

Somewhat unrelated, but I honestly hope we shut down religious/cultural events and bars, etc. Valborg is coming up and Ramadan has already begun. The former event might be smaller in scale since it's an indigenous event, but I don't really trust most muslims to heed recommendations and warnings...

EDIT: Off-topic, but the amount of completely unjustified whining that has come from some immigrant groups regarding ''oppression'' and ''racism'' because how of how overrepresented they are in the death toll, makes me not being too bothered about them getting together and infecting each other, in some aspects. Those who are not hip to how ignorant, arrogant and stupid some of these people are, will be hip to it. Nobody's asking you to move here and live off welfare, while living together with 8 persons in one apartment and deciding to not give a flying fuck about public health.
Knowledgable about specifics, no, but it strikes me that there might be an underlying cultural current at play here. By far the largest concentrations of infection are old people and "cultural enrichers". The swedes are upset about their old folks getting hit disproportionately, but I can't imagine they'd be all that worried about mohammed and yusuf getting all intimate with corona at the same time. Oh they might say they are in public, but in private they won't give a damn.

To me, it sounds like the Swedish government are applying a very Swedish solution to a very Swedish problem. Don't act, avoid the blame for actions: rather, let a new, different problem take care of it for you. The new problem gives cover to change some of the causes of the old problem as well. It wouldn't surprise me if Sweden "forgets" to remove the border restrictions they've placed on non-EEA travellers after the virus leaves.

So the protests have hit my neighborhood. Line of cars driving down the neighborhood street honking thier horns.

My main thoughts:

I wouldn't have known what they were doing if I hadn't been keeping up with this thread. No signage or anything. Most people on the street were probably thinking it was a case of road rage.

Also, while I'm sympathetic and think some of the governors have way overstepped (MI especially) please don't do these protests at 7 a.m. on a Sunday. Most people will still be sleeping. Not exactly a way to endear your point to people.

Not really.

Phased reopenings with contact tracing should go fine. Although I have no idea where they're planning to dig up so many public health workers at. If it's just a free-for-all then no.

I mean, contact tracing is... certainly something that worries me a lot due to its ethical ramifications. But sadly if I were to start listing the things on that list I'd probably overload the fucking forum. So... yeah.

Man, the way I see these "re-opening" plans from around the world - they are so painfully similar even in dates.

At this rate, I'm half-expecting a terrorist attack on the Statue of Liberty and the formation of UNATCO. It's like they all get their dates and orders from transnational entities.

Have you considered competition. It's quite simple really, we see this in nature all the time, animals keep doing their thing until some factor comes and suddently an evolutive push gets then whipped into a frenzy until their actions are barely recognizable and by a few generations they're an entirely new species.

This "coordination" is based on a very simple factor, namely competition. Don't wanna be the last one to reopen 'cause he's gonna get a massive economic dicking for it, don't wanna be the first one either 'cause if he's wrong and we're opening too soon he's gonna get fucked both economically and socially by the new surge of corona. And so the herd goes, not caring about their countries' circumstances, like fucking lemmings.

Fortunately it seems Spain keeps accelerating plans, kids are now fully out everywhere. This is probably partially because our autonomies are also competing with each other. It's also probably because we're already sporting the biggest deathtoll and worst economy so who gives a shit if corona buttfucks us again, we're ready for round 2 anyway. And it is good for you because it means so long as we don't get fucked your polliticians will have a drive to push forward faster too else they're staring at an economic crisis. That's except the Democrats that seem to love the idea of an economic crisis. Don't forget to thank sweeden too for making lockdowns seem stupid, at least at times, that aided a lot. Though we'll see if it costs them with that attitude, because, daym that's a bad attitude to have. And if they have a spike I believe we'll see many calling for lockdown extensions. Spain won't give a shit though. We're already going back to 2012 levels of economic pain. We can't let it keep falling.

I'm getting this shit now on German YouTube when I watch anything related to Corona:

"You can find latest, scientific information at the Federal Centre of Health Education.

Well it's not going to be like Vietnam where four rings deep you all get shoved into central quarantine.

An anonymized SK-style system using cellphones would probably be the best solution but that's never going to happen.

A piece of statistics from Poland, of the good news-bad news kind. There were suggestions that the total number of tests is misleading because it doesn't tell us how many people were tested multiple times, so the numbers may be artificially inflated. In response, the ministry has released just this bit of info. To date, there were 310 744 tests done on 281 787 individuals.

The good news is that the numbers are not inflated by a whole lot. 28 957 surplus tests. We can account for a number of those. 2655 people have recovered to date. They are generally discharged after testing negative twice. That's 5 310. I imagine the remainder is divided between medical personnel and patients still hospitalized.

The bad news is that we're still not using the already small full laboratory capacity. We have flattened the curve all right, daily growths have been stagnant for almost a month now. But we can't start climbing down like the Czechs did. There are reports of local sanitary-epidemiological stations either slacking or not measuring up to the task and there's little reason to doubt them. They're bureaucratized entities whose main pastime before this debacle was controlling imported food and pissing off small business owners. It's a bottleneck that can't be bypassed and not sure if it can be improved in a rush.

Your a moron if you believe that. Everyone is at risk of it, regardless of age. Its people like you that make trying to follow info about the pandemic impossible

News time round 2.

So, on the deescalation shit. Seems it will now be done officially by municipios. Going back to feudal metaphors, municipios would be as large as counties in that system. I mean, more or less. This at least makes sense so yay for bureaucracy being only almost hell.

And other news, a small ONG in zaara de los atunes (a village on the outskirts of cadiz province.) Have gone to their beach with 3 tractors to bleach it chink style to kill coronavirus. No they did not ask for permission and they will be getting fined for obvious reasons. We'll see how hard they fucked the nearby ecosystem in a few weeks but ONGs and guv initiatives are already being mobilized to try and counter it. Thankfully zaara is in the middle of buttfuck nowhere so no really important area got harmed, but still.

That might be possible. One of my thoughts is that people would be pissed if the economy and job market is affected (even more than it is right now), just to save people who can't follow public health recommendations, i.e mostly immigrants.

Every decent person is a loss, but when it comes to the majority of suburb-dwelling immigrants, chances are that those who pass away have no interest in the well-being of my country. This is reflected in their whining and lack of personal responsibility. The only ones I really feel sympathy for are those who work in health care (no matter who they are, may their wages be doubled) and are vulnerable, as well as elderly people.

In my city, according to anecdotal evidence, the vast majority of intensive care patients and people who succumb to the virus, are either immigrants and/or overweight.

EDIT: Might be worth noting that I'm not in the slighest convinced of any conspiracy. I'm worried about our high CFR and how some people disregard public health recommendations.
