He didn't say daily death rate. (though he did kind of imply it) . Just Death rate, which I think in Spain is 500 per million."Spain began to suffer a viral death rate of over 2,500 fatalities per million population,"
I think he's exagerating by a bit there. Agree with the rest. But... 2 fucking THOUSAND per million? Does this guy think Spain has a population of 10 million? Even then it wouldn't be the rate, not even the total but either way. I think he should recheck his math. My best guess is he meant to use "2.5" instead, I guess.
It's possible if you draw a border around the worst affected areas it might be 5 times higher than the national average. Maybe? Grasping at straws.
Deleted the tarded stuff about short isolation weakening your immune system. But I also feel there's something not right. Phony is a word I've used myself. The shit coming out of the TV does not relate at all to the evidence of my lying eyes. I still don't know anyone personally who has definitely caught it. Though I've spoken to plenty who think they may have had a mild case (me included) .A lot of this shit doesn't add up. To take a quote from WWII, there's something phony about this pandemic.
Whole thing just feels weird now. I'm getting ansty. Don't particularly want to go back to work. But I do feel ready for fight. Or a random act of stupidity.
Agree. In the articles about the Google/Apple tracking apps discussed a while back they mentioned that a "contact" would not just be coming near an infected person. It would require staying in range for 15 minutes I think. It's all roll of the dice stuff, like getting cancer from radiation. Certain levels of exposure might infect you, but odds are you'll be OK until you roll the dice enough times.I would bet you need to spend some time with someone in an enclosed area like in an elevator or on public transport or a plane or a funeral or a sit down restaurant or an office to catch this. People have been blatantly disregarding general social distancing rules when out and about carrying out their daily business for weeks now and cases have not shot up.
