There are a lot of times where both women and men end up 'taking someone back' in an obvious gold-dig where the other is just using them for a roof, or child care, or eating out. I'm sure they'll try to say the new relationship is totally true love and they're still letting the dumb kid stay a part of the family so he has nothing to complain about. I would absolutely expect Druckmann to have never really thought about that aspect of the story at all. He just took it for granted to grab this background cuck because he wanted them to worry about a pregnancy or have a baby in the story. Maybe we'll get a twist where the supertranny is the one that knocked Dina up, all this fighting is to cover up the true parentage.

The turnover percentage IS unusual, but can be covered through a few creative means that only become obvious when you look at it closely. Which Sony... hadn't reeeeally been given a reason to. The Crunch fallout probably surprised them, but at the same time it ironically presented a reason enough on its own to paper over the more insidious stuff hiding in the company. So long as none of the big red flags appeared, Sony would basically be in the dark.

The big Red Flags are A: A PR nightmare which lacks a solid excuse (Crunch got close, but has 'Justifiable' reasons from corporates PoV)

When Crash Bandicoot 3 was released, i was so damn jealous of a friend. He got it around the release date in December and never let me play it. He only allowed me to watch him. I asked my parents to get me Crash 3 for christmas. I didn’t get it. Sometime later, I stole a Demo Disc from a newspaper stand which had the Crash 3 Demo on it and I played it for an entire year. It was only the first level but my god, I loved it. This was also the year my parents bought me Crash 3 for Christmas. I yelled out in joy, ran into my room and finally played the entire game myself. I distinctly remember the smell of cinnamon and roast beef in the air, while my cat was sitting in my lap purring and kneading.

Crash 3 was the first game of theirs I played and it's certainly my number 2 behind Jak and Daxter.

But I'll never forget the "wow" factor of Jak and Daxter, just stuff like being able to see the other levels in the game in the background was mind blowing.

As gross and impossible to watch as it would be, a rape-baby would be interesting at least. I couldn't really stomach the leaked scenes, I'm not into watching violence anyway. At least that storyline would maybe make you think about how good we have it in a society where we all accept that forced sex is heinously bade, when it's pretty much par for the course in human history. So...

I've NEVER even heard of this game, The Last of Us, until THREE days ago. I had no idea about it's very existence or would've even cared had you told me about the first game and how great it was a week ago. I don't play video games at all, so walked into all of this blind. Clicking on the thread and reading up about this shit show however, I just can't get enough. It's just fun to follow due to its politics and that's what I'm more interested in. I don't know these characters and I haven't even watched a gameplay of the first one. It's important that you know moving on I DON'T have any attachment to these characters.

There's something incredibly unnerving to me when you take an obvious beloved character in a series and not only beat him to death with a club but also SPIT on him and have another character say, "Burn in hell!"

There's clear HATRED right there towards this character by the creator. I can not imagine why a creator would do that to a character that was popular unless they had a Hurt!Character fetish.

I won't put that past Druckmann, but there's obviously more at work here. This character HAS to represent something him and his cronies dispise. And I get you're going to tell me, "It's because he's a straight white male!"

But come on. You gotta give me something MORE. It feels almost like a desperation to not only kill but bury ANY dignity the character had. It's SO obviously personal to even an outsider like me. What is it about this character that set Neil Druckmann and his people off? If Druckmann had positive things to say in the past to say about the character, it sure as hell seems to have changed in the span of seven years. You can't tell me that he even REMOTELY likes this character only to have some stereotypical Latino spitting on his dead body in this game.

They WILL argue, "That's the point! It's suppose to show the pure brutality of a post apocalyptic world and have you identify with all sides and TO GET YOU TO THINK!!!"

Crash 3 was the first game of theirs I played and it's certainly my number 2 behind Jak and Daxter.

Jak and Daxter's open world was really incredible. I was a console gamer only at that point, so I never saw anything like it. I, personally, think Naughty Dog started to go downhill after that with Jak II. I know that game and III get a lot of love, but if I remember correctly, Sony basically told them to stop putting out childish and goofy games and make it more serious.

SONY is as much of a problem as Naughty Dog here. Their direction to go more "Totally serious and depressed bro" came from SONY and it's starting to impact their other games now as well.
