There are plenty of incredibly talented self-taught software developer/engineers out there. I'm absolutely confidant that John is not one of them. While it's entirely possible that John might have picked up enough skill to slop together some HTML/CSS/JavaScript or slightly modify some UnrealScript he found on some forum, it's pretty far fetched that he understands even the basics of actual computer science as he claims to, or has even a superficial grasp on what it actually is. For example, I don't think he is someone who can reliably compare the time complexity of two algorithms or work through some combinatorial optimization problem (i.e. CS). Keep in mind, this is someone who spent nearly a week complaining on Twitter about how steam needs a better publisher GUI because he couldn't figure out how to use a cli tool with a few arguments to upload his game. The electrical and mechanical engineering claims are even more outlandish. He had to buy a whole new car because he fucked one up so bad trying to install a CarPlay stereo -- which I understand are fairly modular components these days.

John went to school for like ten (10) years. Most people who have been in academy for that long come out pretty credentialed. For most people, ten years might be an undergrad STEM degree (EE), related masters degree (CS) and maybe a MBA or JD. A lot of people could even fit in a nice gap year and a maybe some kind of little certificate program in there as well.

Finally, John uses the word "career" in a way I rarely see it used. I feel like in order to have a "career" you first kind of have to have some kind of job where you actually make money in your chosen field. I mean, the whole being paid to do something part is the primary cornerstone of what people call a profession. Pretty much everything he has attempted has been some kind of disastrous money sink where six-figure sums simply vanish into the maw of failure.

There is no elementary schools to teach basic grammar instead you go straight from pre-school to nursing school apparently.

I think we all know what John means by "the WORST mentions" ...when someone outs him for "being given computers at a very young age."
1 - it blows the "but disadvantaged upbringing no educational opportunity" crap out of the water
2 - so John had computers from a young age, but it was cars that were the path to a "career" in software...I grew up at the family restaurant business . it was my time as a lifegaurd that was my path to becoming a chef

I think it's less that he was trying to hold back, and more that his cunty behavior was diluted by the boilerplate political ads that his intern was posting. Now that there's no filler, it's nothing but unfiltered John stupidity 24/7.

Thank fuck, honestly. Politician John was getting kind of boring, with only the occasional burst of dumb like the moon rocks tweet. With the scampaign over, he's posting the most retarded shit every day, giving us a steady supply of hot takes to mock.
