Furry Fandom and Drama General

Obviously the furfag fandom isn't a large demographic so they won't ever have media based around them like the leagues larger superhero/Popular video game fandom.
The furry fandom has one very unique thing that makes it very attractive to artists looking for business: it disproportionately encourages the creation of original characters.

In other fandoms you usually see a lot of fanart of existing characters, and most people aren't willing to pay for fanart when most artists are willing to provide it for free. The ones willing to pay are usually the hardcore fans, and by definition they're a tiny minority of the fandom in general. Sometimes you have more enterprising fans creating their own fan characters, but between many of those fans already knowing how to draw to some level, or getting fanart of their own characters done for free by fandom artists, there's not a lot of space for someone looking to make money.

In the furry fandom and adjacent fandoms (bronies, etc), having your own "fursona" or a whole stable of characters is almost mandatory. Having them drawn, even in scribble form by a Russian kid who can barely speak English and charges $5 for anything, no matter how weird or depraved, is only slightly less mandatory. So every Tom, Dick and Harry there will be commissioning an artist at some point, likely multiple times a year. So even if the fandom itself isn't the largest out there, the demand for art is absurd for its size.

Plus, it's "culturally" (if you can call it culture) a very welcoming place to artists that would often be decried as "mercenaries" in other fandoms. With how SJW-heavy furries are, it's a wonder they're so willing to chuck money out for ephemeral goods like pixels on a screen. All that adds up to many artists looking at furries like moneycows as well as lolcows.

The only fandom that has an equal emphasis on original characters is the RPG fandom. Problem is, those tend to ask for a lot more SFW pieces... and the standards for, say, D&D art, even on a basic level, are higher than your average furry smut. The average furry will only look at the tits or dick, the rest be damned. Not to much when the piece is a reference for Lolegolas, 5th Level fully-dressed and equipped Elf Ranger.

There are some fagsonas that get popular in the furry fandom but they are usually very rare and often don't have many posts on them. I used to watch furries on their forums and the artists almost always never drew the same OC fur once. Furries go so far to make original snowflake animal characters that there are also tons of OC's drawn by artists that are "made up species" which are basically just insignificant features from a combinations of animals(for example. wolves with antlers, and cats with catfish whiskers).

Sounds like the RPG fandom is less wild than furfags. > Implying that having to draw sfw for RPG fandoms is a problem. Although yeah I would imagine RPG fans have much more high standards and pixel art work from the 90s won't fly with them anymore. I would imagine RPG fans want the fanart to look 3D rendered and down to details, so of course the typical shitty furfag that draws their art in a regular show/amazing world of cumball art style would fail. True in many furry pics the genitals are often given more detail and made to look more 3D than the rest of the OC's body which almost always makes the art look stupid.

If you guys wanna see a real trashfire involving a suit making individual, LSDfursuits is a real piece of work and a massive cow.

Good place to start. Sorry that I can’t currently flesh things out more.
That reminds me of something I saw a furry was making an app similar to those stupid face cover emojis that thots love to use but this time, instead of only having ears and a muzzle the thing covers the entire face with a virtual fursuit but I couldn't be bothered to notice who it was.

I say copyright is part of the issue. Selling a fancomic of the Free! anime is copyright infringement (though the level of prosecution depends on the copyright holder and the law of the country where the infringement was done), but selling a comic starring your own wolfox character is not; foxes and wolves are effectively public domain.
There is also the very personal aspect of a fursona: they normally represent you in a way, whether your actual self, your ideal self, stuff that you find fun, and so n. Having a fursona tells about your commitment of the furry fandom.

I really can't stop laughing at how this went from mistaking "boogaloo" and "RaHoWa" to Boogaloo= a pepe. 10/10 troll or 10/10 autism.

To clarify, so you don't have to get it in your search results, the "RaHoWa" stands for "Racial Holy War." Basically the SHTF WN groups have been shitting themselves over for the better part of 40+ years now. Famously evolved from the Turner Diaries which itself is a chuckle to read if you like laughing at conspiracytards.

There was also a similar software on steam which became really popular with furries

I am going to start powerleveling here right now. In all honesty I am a self hating furfag, I love fapping to all the rainbow colored wolf/fox drawings I can find on FurAffinity and DeviantArt. I also love furry inflation/scat fetish comics because they are ridiculously entertaining. I may even start murrsuiting one day if I can find the rare furry female and dry hump her all night at the furcon although I doubt I would be the only one in her room, which is why I dont bother going to furcon. I cannot stop staring endlessly at MS paint made drawings of furrues, and I strictly buy games with a furry characters in them(ex Hollow Knight). Also I might buy an anime related games if there is an awesome big tiddy waifu that isnt just there to look pretty on the sidelines. I wish furries have their own first person shooter too someday... that way I wont ever have to play call of duty again.

TL DR I mausterbaut to furries(the animals not the fat sexual predators) furiously everyday and every night.

This is an amazing shitpost, but please die.

It rings more of an autistic plea for attention. No one was replying or reacting positively to his posts and he got lonely.
I was going to say that quarintine hit him hard but I bet @WannabeDictator was lonely before otherwise he would've got a girlfriend and leave furry crap behind.

Also, threadban him so he can shit up some other thread.
