Why such a mundane thing though? Like, some lies are understandable if it gets them attention or asspats, but colour blindness isn't something that disables ppl in any way or makes ppl oppressed. Were they just hoping it makes them more ~unique~? or did they expect ppl to give them praise for continuing their passion in art even though their vision problem could cause issues for them?

Pathological liars don't only lie about big cool things, they just lie. A lot of the time it's compulsive. It may just be something they said once and rolled with and then realized they couldn't truly upkeep so they've let it fade.

I come in here hoping to see some more spicy dirt on vcr but it's just people using their 3 brain cells to argue about things that literally don't even remotely matter.

It's just interesting to talk about while the cow is dry, I agree it's totally inconsequential overall however. Fiction isn't reality, I might laugh or be confused but at the end of the day I don't care what fictional content people beat their meat to, no pun intended, so long as it doesn't hurt real living things. Rate me optimistic but the day VCR becomes truly boring enough for this thread to die won't necessarily be a bad day if it means they've stopped being a jackass about things that don't matter.

I asked that because this type of behaviour itself implies mental maladies. From what I found, she is apparently diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder and actual, no-slur Autism. Her body is also extremely sensitive to drugs; she got a nasty allergic reaction to testosterone once while an energy drink made her go crazy. Another mental medication required her to take thyroid medication. Apparently, therapy is not doing any good to her, either.

Out of curiosity, I decided to look at her Journal entries from her old account in FurAffinity.

Some highlights:
  • Officially speaking, she has light astigmatism and light colour deficiency. However, other than anæmia and metabolism, her body was normal and actually earning the admiration of her female classmates.
  • The last year when she was 'normal' was in 2012. That was also the last year of high school... which she had an intense dislike due to her classmates. She ven avoided attending her high school graduation ceremony and was a bit spiteful over that.
  • Her conservative mother was the main force that kept her 'normal'. Not only did her mother frequently commen that Rachel was 'gender-confused' but also would not stand Rachel giving herself a 'lesbian haircut' (which is actually a 'non-binary haircut').
  • Rachel is also anti-theist o the point of thinking that Christianity is a form of hypnosis. Th is not jus the usual 'Christianity is BGLT-phobic' thing; she also thinks that we do not have free will if God is in control of everything.
  • In contrast, she did have an earlier stint with Tumblr where she 'got freaky' but later quit because of the community there. FurAffinity was her safe space because of how affirming and even enabling FurAffinity was of her genderqueer endeavours (in contrast o deviantArt, which was more neutral and even anti-BGLT+).
  • She actually experimented with non-binary pronouns since 2012, one time adding male pronouns. She also used chest binders. Meanwhile, she faded away from being 'Rachel', eventually insisting that others call her 'Charles' or any nicknames. The reason she gave was that 'Rachel' automatically set expectations of her gender and would therefore lead her to be 'misgendered'. After all, she was tired of people calling her a girl because they saw her feminine body in real ife; the Internet seemed to be a sort of 'safe space' to her.

Being on testosterone does make your hands bigger and more 'manly' you also get a boxier body with wider shoulders. I am very sure we'll be seeing a reverse-dysphoria effect here soon, especially when even more noticeable traits start showing. T doesn't make you 'uwu soft boi.' T makes you go full burly man-mode, or slobby fat and hairy man-mode if you don't take care of yourself.

Slightly OT but there's been a huge amount of a detransitions lately due to... well, reverse-dysphoria because a lot of the people, like I said before, jumping the gun and not realizing the permanent effects.

The tucute shits will tell you it's because of "pressure from from the evil transmeds" (AKA trans people who actually know what the fuck they're doing and want to educate others that being a tomboy doesn't mean you're a "ftm soft boye uwu"), but that makes no sense.

i have literally never heard this before. it's not possible for your shoulders to get wider because that's down to bone structure; the most your body structure changes would be a redistribution of fat, which can make you 'boxier' (though not all trans guys will totally lose their more feminine figure due to previously mentioned bone structure). your hands might get bigger if they get fatter? i guess they could look more masculine somehow but they won't change size unless they get more/less fat.

in regards to VCR's tweet. i kinda doubt anything's changing all that drastically with their hands. they probably don't have anything to worry about.

it is entirely possible to not be happy with one very specific aspect of transition while being happy with transitioning as a whole, so whether they actually regret transitioning or not, it's gonna be a "wait and see" situation.

Watching it happen second hand to someone close to me, yeah those changes can happen as well as a sudden growthspurt if you start transitioning early enough (we are talking somewhere between 18-20 years old, sometimes until 22 if you're genetics are lucky) since the body can still be developing and not quite at it's finish line yet. You won't see these changed in anyone transitioning later because their bone structure is done growing by that time, the changes by that point will only be muscle, fat, and facial structure.

Bone structure changes after female puberty is absolutely complete? no, once your body has gone through female puberty it will not go back, and it will not change. This usually ends in the late teens, though some do get an extra inch or so of height if they start in their very, very early twenties.

However, you can lose fat off your hips and gain muscle, and gaining muscle in your back, your chest, and your shoulder areas will make you look significantly different.

Your hand shape will not change at the bone structure level; this does not mean your hands may not become more masculine, if by masculine you count the fact that because testosterone causes you to become more hairy, you can and likely will experience an increase in hair growth and thickness in areas around your hands (up to the wrists) and in some cases, even on the hands themselves. This combined with the weight gain they've experienced since starting T, may indeed cause their hands to appear more masculine.

VCR-Wolfe does not identify as male. Fullstop. They have admitted this, they talk about this regularly. They are not male; they do not identify as a man. They identify as Nonbinary, if they were not happy looking female, I can see them not being happy looking male either. I would encourage them to take a step back and re-examine their desires, they can start T again if they decide that yes, looking fully masculine is what they want. Undoing the effects of T are more difficult, many do not go away just because you quit.

yeah, in my opinion nonbinary people shouldn't go on hormones unless they have a stronger preference for looking more masculine/feminine regardless of their identity. even then it should probably be on doses lower than what's prescribed for trans people.

I just binged my way through this whole thread and sort of had a thought-- obviously this chick is a trainwreck of a human being, but what really strikes me is how much of a trainwreck she seems to be GENETICALLY.

I think it hit me right about this sequence of pictures when NoFeline mentioned the ears, but those are REALLY small. Variation in all things obviously, but the general rule with ears is that the top is even with your eyes and the bottom with the base of your nose, and between the various pictures hers are like half that.

Now yeah, haha, small ears, but people earlier in the thread were pointing out that if she actually is colorblind, that's extremely double-recessive rare in women. And she said she's missing what, at least six or seven teeth (one incisor, wisdom teeth, unspecified number of molars) that just never grew in? Plus the tiny misshapen ears and god knows what else that we might not be privy to.

What in the FUCK happened here, did someone piss in this chick's gene pool? Do we know whether her parents are normal, or is somebody in the family hiding a tail and third nipple or something?
