Okay, despite there being a really comprehensive OP, I'm still lost as to why anybody gives the first fuck that some guy was trying to get laid with someone else over texts. What's the original issue here?

JLH is mad at Dick still after all these year and leaked private texts. Dick poorly defended his texts. Now two groups of people are independently trying to either defend Dick or prove he is the leader of a secret cabal of NP2 creators. The original issue isn't why this is still a thing. It has become so hot and these people hope they will uncover something to jump start their career in investigative Youtube drama.

This thread has convinced me of my working theory that Internet Personalities are Stars. Not in the hollywood sense, but as in being actual stellar masses. Unlike real stars though, internet stars burn autism in lieu of hydrogen. Most of these internet stars never accumulate much size and influence. Thus they burn through most of their autism and after a (relatively) small explosion in which they shed much of their size and influence will burn on as an ember clinging to what little autistic fuel they have left until shortly before the heat death of the universe.

However, there are internet stars that gain a large amount of size and influence. And for these the relatively benign explosion followed by the ember of irrelevancy is not their fate. These types of internet stars accumulate so much autism that there is only one fate that awaits them. The amount of autism becomes too great for the natural laws of the universe to control and it collapses in on itself, before exploding in a massive shockwave of autistic fire that glows so brightly even parts of the universe completely oblivious to that internet stars existence prior to the event cant help but stop and look at it.

And for other internet bodies nearer to the blast, their fate is dire. The autism explosion will obliterate minor orbiters, while companion internet stars might find their own autism reserves violently stripped away and shredded by the explosion. And for very large autistic objects, the weight of the autism may even fall back down, it's own weight great enough to exceed the force of the explosion. Collapsing into a black hole of autism that extinguishes all light of reason and destroys anything that gets too close to it.

Nobody really cares about the texts and the conspiracy is the result of an x-files bender and a wrestling overdose. The thing is that for some reason, this nonsense got under Dick Masterson's skin and that gave the all clear to fuck with him to see how he'd react

PPP showed his asshole on stream.me and may have pissed on the Israeli flag but other than that I don't know much about him. Nick can be entertaining reading legal slapfights but man has he made poor calls on actual cases he's supported.
It's just a trashfire that people are becoming unreasonably impassioned about based on who's side they were originally on and that's not the way to experience this.
