No one's telling you to keep coming back to this thread
But not only does @Samoyed say repeatedly his desire to have me back, the fact these slanderous unsupported lies are being parroted by furries in the fandom proves that not only do unsuspecting furries take this page as having some sort of an objective journalistic integrity, a laughable thought, but they're willing spread this yellow journalism far and wide.
There needs to be someone to put these psychopathic stalking slandering manchildren in their place because it sounds like most of the victims of this website were too cowardly to do so.
Universally if you look deep into someones personal actions and words you'll ALWAYS find something embarrassing and something they're ashamed of. That's a given. It's the only reason Kevin Hart didn't host the Oscars. But the disturbing truth is universally people accept that the victims of trolling are to blame for responding, they are to blame for entering the internet, they are to blame for their own harassment.
That sets an extremely disturbing precedent, where literally an entire society is saying collectively: "Well Julie Terryberry, Chloe Sagal, Chance Carmichael, and Nicholas McCrary killed themselves because of their own mistakes. The cyberbullies bare no brunt of the responsibility in their decisions and if ONLY these people removed themselves from the internet/website/forum/life/outside/schoolyard/workplace/the bar, then they'd CLEARLY be spared of torment! Only by existing in any space with another individual, inevitably invites their own abuse." That's a evil lie that is somehow ingrained in most seasoned internet surfers.
The advice "Ignore the Trolls" is forever blurred by the fact that you can't distinguish the difference between an actual troll or someone who is genuinely communicating their thoughts in an uneducated way. The line between troll and provocateur is so blurred that it encourages every single person out there to simply ignore and block ANYONE who triggers them. What a stupid concept for an entire generation to eat up. "Ignore the Trolls" is insane. It's victim-blaming, and completely ignores the fact that "troll" is undefined.
"Troll" is absolutely undefined. I've been called a troll multiple times for exhibiting caty, cheeky, and a sly sense of humor poking fun at peoples spelling mistakes. Yet while some liberal trolls try to create a negative emotional response, conservative trolls simply speak unfiltered to create an identical reaction. But all have a divinely disturbing assumption attached to it:
If a bully motivates a suicide, the bully isn't the blame according to what is commonly accepted: "Ignore the Bullies/Ignore the trolls". Both bullies and trolls are completely undefined. It can mean anything:
1. A bully/troll is someone who intends to cause emotional pain for their own amusement.
2. A bully/troll is someone who speaks unfiltered while purposefully ignoring any emotional pain resulting
3. A bully/troll is someone who creates turmoil to find control on the net to substitute the lack of control they have of their own life.
4. A bully/troll is someone who can only feel powerful if they think they can control someone else's pain
5. A bully/troll is someone who feels they can bring "emotional" justice by making upset someone who makes them upset
6. A bully/troll is someone who speaks honestly, and believes any negative emotional reaction is meant to encourage dishonesty, thus deserves their emotional torment.
7. A bully/troll is a natural reaction to an authoritarian style parenting, since bullying/trolling tries to emulate an abusive cycle of control, while ignoring any emotional turmoil as a defiance of that self-entitled feeling of power.
8. A bully/troll is someone who is trying to teach others to have a thick skin by punishing those thin-skinned enough to have an emotional dependency on the internet or how strangers view them.
9. A bully/troll is someone who see themselves as having more worth then others, thus they must assert their dominance through belittling.
10. A bully/troll is someone who laughs at other peoples pain to help forget their own pain.
All of these definitions are different, but you won't find any collective agreeing on a single definition. And that becomes extremely problematic because if a troll is undefined then "Ignore the Trolls" also becomes undefined. In general it tries to teach three extremely harmful ideas:
1. You shouldn't listen to those who trigger you, for they've likely intended to do so, thus they must be ignored.
2. Those bullied into suicide are to blame because ignoring the human urge to react is the only ideal: the cynical jaded state of mind.
3. If you ignore rumors/bullies/harassment, eventually they'll go away with time.
There is no truth in any of these widely held beliefs. They are dead wrong and are created with the purpose of trying to enable the most sick, disgusting, evil, monsterous people out there: Those who only aim to cause pain, suffering, and death to others.
The truth is, you need to communicate with people who trigger you, because how ELSE are you going to get to the greater truth? You NEED to hold bullies accountable to their actions because if not then anti-harassment legislation wouldn't exist. And if you ignore rumors, bullies, trolls, or harassment, IT WILL GET WORSE. It always has and it always will.
From June to February I made a horrific mistake of ignoring rumors or those who intended to do me harm. I'm typing to you because I learned my lesson.
Your conventional wisdom is ignorance and nothing more. Trolls don't go away if you ignore them, they are emboldened. "Ignore the Trolls" is the absolute worst advice on the internet and it's spread by the same people who enable and practice the encouragement of suicide. Remember these names:
Julie Terryberry
Chloe Sagal
Chance Carmichael
Nicholas McCrary
For every single person who repeats the lie "Ignore the Trolls" their blood is on your hands. By repeating that lie you've helped create the "victim-blaming" atmosphere to both enable, protect, and embolden the most evil individuals on the internet:
KiwiFarmers. Pure unadulterated evil. Shame on all those victim-blamers who protect you. They're just as responsible for the deaths of Julie, Chloe, Chance, and Nicholas!
Now all of you have ignored my request:
How can I prove to you that I'm typing this with a completely calm demeanor? Answer please.
