Diseased #Comicsgate - The Culture Wars Hit The Funny Books!

Oh and Neil has separated from his wife and her patreon backers found out before him. http://archive.li/dCKSH
A bit late, but I noticed this one single comment:

Money isn't as important as changing society to marxists.

I don't understand why people assume this is some political motivated policy on the part of the company. KS was just too slow to adapt to the realization that people on the right are just as dumb, if not dumber, when it comes to giving away their money to grifters who pander to their politics.

KS made a decision to focus on one set of pay-piggies and exclude others so they could ensure 'brand' loyalty. Now they've drained those piggies dry they have to reorganize. So they've sacked some staff? That's just business.

IGG is riding the wave at the moment, they're using the 'culture war' to hide the fact they actively support criminals of all stripes (check out IGG's complicity in the Sinclair Vega + scandal...where IGG actively banned backers from the comments when they were trying to draw attention to the scam.)

Markets change and suckers wise up, and in a couple of years we'll be reading the same headlines about IGG.

EDIT: Off-topic, but for any Kiwis who don't know about it here's a video about the Sinclair Vega+ Scam, it has everything...law suits, lol-suits, affairs, shit-posting, castration threats, copyright infringement, claims of trolling and Islamic terror, and conferences about Pedo-Sex-Robots....all in the attempt to sell a handheld retro games console.

In the latest Comicsgate news, Bleeding Cool ran an article criticizing Allegiance Arts which is hard to disagree with.

Problems with pricing stickers damaging the "collectors" comics:
>Bleeding Cool has shown how DC Comics' titles in store have been subject to being placed below drippy gooey slimeballs. As well as, in some cases, apparently thrown onto the shelf. Well, Allegiance Arts and Entertainment may have their own issues with Walmart. Because while the store knows not to put sticky price stickers on the items in the Collector section, they have no such reluctance in the bookstore section. While all the comics have prices prominently on the cover at $4.98, that's not enough for Walmart price guns.

>One seller on eBay states of the condition of the copies of the four titles they are selling "The only bad thing about these comics is they come in with a Wal-mart generic price sticker on the covers. And they are the cheap stickers that break apart and leave reside. I was successful in removing 3 of the 4 stickers, but one comics cover was damaged in the process. I circled it in the picture on the comic Norah's Saga #1."

Red Rooster going to Walmart before the IGG backers and Mitch's response to the pricing stickers:
>On the IndieGoGo page, "about Red Rooster coming to Walmart before those who backed the crowdfunded in 2018, saying "we carefully designed the books so price stickers wouldn't be necessary. We've spoken with the distributor about the problem and future issues will not have price stickers." Still managed to almost double their money, selling for $35. the set. Another seller was able to get $20 for just Red Rooster #1.

Collectors on ebay are getting swindled because the books are available on Walmart.com for cheaper, though they may arrive damaged:
>However, it may be worth mentioning that the comics are still available on Walmart.com and at cover price as well. You could buy all four for the price of Red Rooster on eBay… just be warned, as one collector mentioned on a Comics Collection and Speculation forum that Walmart sent them in a small bubble wrap envelope with no cardboard to keep them flat. Another states that instore, the display is small and tight, so comics get damaged easily, especially when kids at kid-level grab them, and about 90% of them are damaged on the display. Maybe decent condition copies might be worth something after all?

From the twitterverse, after Liam Gray was blaming @VIkkiVerse for being the one who reported his channel for copyright violation (in the Stan Lee parody incident) SJW Captain America revealed he was the one who contacted POW and the Lee estate.
SJWCap.PNG

In a follow up tweet responding to a clip of Liam Gray, SJW Captain America offered Liam the advice that promising to continue to violate copyright was not going to help his current situation.

The clip of Liam Gray in question can be found below.

Can any Kiwi's confirm whether or not SJW Captain America is the previous user known as SJW Spiderman? Or are they separate individuals?

In the ongoing Simeti Swatting Scandal, Jon Del Arroz revealed that a FOIA request had been lodged and that he expects answers within 5 business days.

Fresh from calling out @Mister Dongs , JDA took a shot at fellow Farmer @CapeKnight proving he does indeed lurk this thread.
Capeknight.PNG

This humble reporter would suggest to Jon to make an account here at the farms, get verified and contribute to the thread. It sure would save me a lot of time reporting all this nonsense.

Continuing with our JDA theme, from youtube Jon Del Arroz offers up his thoughts on the Liam Gray/Stan Lee parody saga.

Comicsgate™ owner Preston Poulter recently live-streamed with JDA and another creator to talk about the first certified Comicsgate comics.

The peoples champion continues to rail against Peter Simeti, talks about the Stan Lee parody situation and brings up the cluster fuck known as Stealing Solo. Hut also offers his thoughts on how Bleeding Fool and Bounding into Comics are just as bad as Bleeding Cool when it comes to reporting fake news (which personally I disagree with.)

Clownfish TV reports on the firing of Camilla Zhang as @KingofNothing previously reported on in this thread.

Zack also offers his thoughts on the Camilla Zhang situation in a video below.

Personally watching Camilla Zhang go from kickstarter is probably the most interesting news of the day. Much like how universities are shedding their progressive professors and courses as the corona-virus ravages the economy, kickstarter too has been forced to make cuts. Oddly the SJWs can't seem to fathom that their worthless positions, courses and degree's can only be subsidized by a strong capitalist economy and during times of stress they are vulnerable due to the need to trim the fat.

Good news day :bluelabel:

Edit: Some spelling mistakes and shrank the DM of JDA to Bleeding Cool, to a smaller size.

It's very hilarious that he took a shot at that and said it was "name calling" in the livestream. Look, I just point out what I see. I don't have a problem with some folks reporting on things, I draw a bit of a line when it comes to people shamelessly admitting that they're trying to farm outrage views and work the YouTube algorithm, because it gives the vibe of someone who can't sincerely sell their products without making a video about something, then plug their product. You can catch him admitting on the fact that he does clickbait titles and purposefully covering topics that are controversial because that's how he thinks he gets views.

Don't even let me get into how many people I'm bored of for making the same damn videos about one topic the moment it releases. For the most part, I need just one person to fill me in on things. Let me show you an example of what my YouTube page looked like when the New Warriors bs happened:
nope.pngnope2.png

As you can see, it was filled with people trying to give their hot takes, and I'm thoroughly annoyed by that. Leave the reporting to one person, people jumping in to cover one damn topic always annoys the fuck out of me because the topic then becomes muddled enough for people to go on and say "OH I'M HARRASSED BECAUSE I THREW MY HAT IN!" Like, seriously, I'm not gonna go to someone else for another take if I got the gist of it already, unless there's more to the story I don't know of. And that's mostly how I view things. Mob mentality and jumping on the bandwagon is something I thoroughly despise. Capn Cummings doing his investigation was the only person I needed to hear it from, and I'll watch it break down. If Preston mentions it in his Last Week in ComicsGate, then sure, I don't mind because he covers things like this anyways, that's been his show, his is just an overall breakdown of things that has more substance to it than just one topic usually, and there are topics I'm bound to miss.

Gotta love how he clips a small segment of my comment and then acts like I said it to disregard any truth, as if the truth doesn't matter. This is the kind of moral high horse he needs to get off of and stop touting his own horn, that's the point I was making. But hey, clipping small comments and spinning a caption on it to play internet tough guy seems to be his forte.

SJW Captain America is man in his mid-thirties who is in the armed forces. This came out after "someone" made a Twitter sock puppet account with pictures of his kids which was met with SJW Cap threatening Lola to post unedited pics of her and TUG's kids within the hour if she didn't remove them. They were removed. Totally wasn't TUG's wife behind it though.
SJW Spider-Man is a 20-something trust fund weeb teaching English in Japan with some local he knocked up. I know he still exists because I sometimes go around his blockwall to ask how his crusade against Comicsgate is going.

Bonus Question: So is SJW Spider-Man connected to the now (I believe) defunct account SJW Snoke?

I thought Micah Curtis was one of EVS's best buds? When did that change and he became a human shield?

Nothing better than getting an admission out of the defacto leader of ComicsGrift that he's willing to throw people under the bus when convenient. Comrade Micah, you have served your purpose. You shall die for the greater good of Mother CG! Oh and Comrade Liam Gray too, you can go.

This is why TV news/commentary is dying. Because everyone now has their hot take on "social media".

Hey EVS said that he was distancing himself from people who haven't fulfilled a comic on time, so it's not like any value was lost by dumping him.

Clipped because watching Ethan shit all over Micah and Liam Gray is just too good to allow to disappear forever.

Edit: That awkward silence that follows Adam Post saying "we love Micah Curtis" and the look on Ethan's face :lol:LOL:lol:

Edit: Holy shit, the Tweet he's lambasting Tess Fowler for/gloating over (time stamp) is in reference to the fact that Fowler has breast cancer and that that is gonna be financially costly? Can some nigga cap this exceptional sperging? No way is @FROG not gonna Old Yeller this livestream. WTF, Dude.

I got you, thanks for the time stamps. Makes my job easier since I can't bear Ethan's 4 hour hugbox streams anymore, I grabbed the entire stream but here's some clips to save for prosperity.

I think the whole stream is too large to upload, its about 1.1gb so if it does get old yellered I'll re-upload it to bitchute, yt or put it in a google drive folder.

He also lumps Liam in with Micah there.

Interesting, with Fraga joining and hints of a new known pro from the big 2 coming to CG soon I wonder if Ethan is looking at mega LoL-cows like Micah and Liam and thinking they've become liabilities.

Lord knows anyone with an IQ over 58 should be embarrassed being in the same club as Micah or Liam but Ethan needed them to fill out his stable after purging so much actual talent in 2018-2019.

Ethan used to have actual pros on his show with mainstream cred in 2018-2019. Now he's got Fraga, a decent artist for sure but not exactly a prolific or respected creator, and Malin. Even Meyer refuses to do panel shows with Ethan, probably out of embarrassment at the level of simpering yes men currently jockeying to bury their noses in Ethan's crack so they can get their amateur book over the $10,000 mark.

I mean, is anyone excited to find out what Adam Post is doing next? College of the Dead isn't really setting the indie world on fire. Ethan even had more impressive wannabes like Antonio Bryce to kiss his ass last year. At least Antonio could talk and had an artist worth more than $80 a page to make his self insert vanity project look like it might be good.

Still, I doubt Brand is good but at least you get the impression that Bryce actually cares like Meyer. Post comes across like a sleazy corporate sycophant from a bad 80's movie.

For the record Brand, much like most Comicsgate books, can only be described as average.

The book is most definitely a self insert of Antonio Brice as our lead who is an overweight black man with a white girlfriend fetish. When he taps into his powers he transforms into a muscular hero with supernatural powers.

The first issue introduces FAR too many characters to the story to keep track of. Our main hero, two side kicks, our main heroes girlfriend, some runaway white girl who's a pick pocket, a pimp and his crew trying to recruit the runaway white girl, some cops, our main villain and his crew of henchmen, a rival crew to our main villain, more villains who are at an auction for supernatural items and other members of the order that our main hero belongs too. Despite listing off all these character, I'm certain there are many more I've forgotten. Keeping track of who is who is a nightmare throughout the entire issue.

Canaan White's art is spectacular, so there is no criticism there. The coloring and lettering was good enough, with very little to criticize. The story itself revolves around the main hero attempting to locate one of his lost side kicks at the supernatural item auction, while the runaway pick pocket is being convinced into joining some local pimps gang, while our main villain and his crew are attempting to organize a truce with a rival faction through an arranged marriage, while two cops are investigating our main villain's business interests. There is simply too much going on in this first issue for it to be coherent and is a nightmare to wad through.

I'd put it in the same range of quality as Jawbreakers and Graveyard Shift, it has some nice artwork but the story and dialogue clearly shows it's being written by a novice.

I give it about a 5/10 and most of that score is being generous on account of Canaan's fantastic artwork.

I do agree though at least Antonio is clearly passionate about his product and was an interesting character to listen to on Ethan's morning live-streams as his co-host. Micah Curtis's Englewood looks like complete and utter trash that only the most brain-dead CG zealot would fund out of loyalty to the brand. I notice that a lot of late CG comics often have complaints from backers about receiving the comic they paid for, despite being late no one is complaining about Englewood which leads me to believe most of the backers don't actual care enough to receive it.

I noticed in a video from your previous post that Adam Post bragged about doing 500% more on his College of the Dead sequel. I'm certainly biased but I can't imagine that the C-grade zombie movie plot is what's driving pledges. My guess would be that regular appearances on Ethan's show have raised Post's standing with "community" faithful and now he's got a better slot at the paypig trough.

Kissing ass with zero dignity does pay dividends.

I wonder if Adam Friended will have as much luck with his failed screen play graphic novel retread. His current low standing with WarCampaign (how'd that happen) can't be helping.

EDIT: Also interesting that Ethan had 3 creators on with funding projects but provided no links for them in his description even though he pushed JB3 and Vestige.

Pushing Vestige doesn't seem to be ideal for following his rule of backing people who have proven to fulfilled, right? I thought "proven to fulfill" meant the campaign is long over, and everyone got their books, no more backings, which means literally everyone's first campaign shouldn't be promoted.

EVS and his livestream crew have been quietly distancing themselves from WC the past week.
