I'm not going to argue that Linehan isn't a dick, but if you take this podcast at face value, he said he was wrong about gagagate and Dankula. He is a bit disengenous becaue it would have come across better if he had outright said 'I was an idiot in a hugbox' rather than suggesting it with appeals to why. Still, I felt a lot of what he said was bordering on sanity.

Tony's response is boringly predictable but I love the one from Pink News. The first question tiggernometry asked was something on the lines of 'is comedy better or worse, could you do what you did then now' and Lineham said the prroblem with comedy is jounalists taking what is a joke or a set up for a joke and reporting that as if it is the comediens viewpoint. Which is exactly what (the criticised by Lineham in the podcast) PN did by saying 'the host said that women deserved to be silenced'. No falter in doing that, no 'aren't we proving them right here'.

Glinner didn’t acquit himself all that well. It wasn’t so much his backtracking but the manner of his delivery. He sounded genuinely unhinged and deranged. He needs to take a break and leave the TERFing to the Terven.

Yes but backtracking can be just changing your mind when you know more - which is good? That said he did sound a bit deranged but I would suggest the terven are not immune to that either.

He did actually apologise to Dankula in a tweet some time back. Specifically about saying that he should have been kicked off YouTube.
 
I don’t think Graham’s changed as much as people think. He’s still got massive TDS, and he said during that interview that he thinks Trump will cause the end of the world. It’s also clear that he’s doing this stuff primarily because he’s a radfem who hates men. Notice how he never once complains about FtM trans people. He hasn’t lost his “No fun allowed” attitude either and he went on an anti-porn rant towards the end of the interview.

Basically, he’s still a cunt. The only difference is he’s now directing his vitriol towards a slightly more deserving target. It’s good he’s realised that he helped create the monster that’s now eating him, but at the same time, I can’t help but think him reaching out to people on the other side is just tactical to get more supporters in his camp. I’m not sure he’s an ally most people would want though. Even the interviewers were hinting none too subtly that it might be a good idea for him to tone things down a bit, a suggestion he ignored.

He aurgued that being nuanced did JK Rowling no favours , she was cancelled too, why bother. But the responses to Rowling exposed the madness . Whilst I do think he made some valid points and acted like he questions himself, having it interposed with, like you say TDS and more. He undermined himself.
