Considering that people have publically posted responses from Alex and claimed that he typically responds to e-mails within an hour of sending them - some even as quickly as 20 minutes - I'm inclined to call bullshit on that one.

Responding to random e-mails asking questions about the game and the drama isn't what I'd call "busy working on the game".

Dude, don't you know? Those dang, dirty emails are the main problem with Yandere Simulators development. That's literally it. There's nothing wrong with the code, the developer is a perfectly normal guy, and if you don't believe me you can go to his business' website and read the dedicated page as to why he's not a paedophile or a hypersensitive cunt, just like you can on any other business' website.

Like, to Alex's credit, he hasn't completely given up. But I mean, making a game is hard, it's a fucking marathon, and kudos to Alex for never completely stopping running. But the crowd dispersed long ago and no-one is waiting at the finish line for him anymore. Hell, people who started after him have already lapped him. In fairness, at least YandereSimulator is better than all the shitty fan remakes. Even Watashi no Moto was a glorified prototype before it shut down development, I imagine it's going to be like the Chris-Chan documentary, every fucking nobody says they're going to make it and no-one ever does.

He literally fucking spends time responding on reddit to fans about what the favorite food of each Student Council member is. Let's also not forget the dude to this day still sockpuppets to defend himself (reminder that both YanDev and RockVonCleveland went through the effort of making an account to comment here in this thread)

This makes me wish KF had some way to make important posts more easily accessible. Highlights are great for when you've missed out on like 20-something pages in a thread and want to just skim through, but they're less great in massive threads like this one and Greer's.

I don't doubt at all that Alex has tried to post here- we're talking about a guy who's so obssessed with controlling the narrative that he made a huge FAQ trying to deflect every single piece of criticism he could think of, and still insists on replying to every single email he gets within an hour just in case he needs to educate a misinformed gremlin. But good luck to anyone who feels like searching through almost 1900 pages just for a couple of specific posts.
