Most comic book creators today are comic book personalities and all they can do is appeal to little niche groups because their personalities make it impossible for them to appeal to a broad scope of people like a cool guy like Todd McFarlane can. I saw the Allegiance Arts comics at WalMart. I looked through the comics and a couple of them looked great. Higher quality art and colors than most other comics. Great covers, logos, top notch. Red Rooster was a great looking comic. I was tempted to buy it but the temptation went away every time I had the thought that it would help Mitch Breitweiser. It's like why I refuse to buy Disney products because of the people I would be supporting.

Comicsgate may have cut ties with people so they wouldn't piss off gays but they have still managed to piss lots of people off with their stealing and their arrogance in the wake of it. It is really impossible to be entertainment creators who focus on yourself and chasing after niche groups and not hurt your sales.

All of the comic book personalities are the same. None want to just create entertainment and hinge it's success on it's merits as entertainment. They want a quicker road to money and try to appease groups to find instant success.

Mark Waid wanted to show other leftists he was their guy fighting the leftist fight, slaying the evil bigots and sexists. So he publicly went after nutcase Richard Meyer's head so he could be the hero of leftists so he would get business from them.

Robbie Rodriquez's asshole even tried to get in the game and attack EVS to endear itself to leftist comic book personalities and leftist consumers.

EVS tried to appeal to conservatives but ended up finding some demographic of sickos and they are the ones he focuses on now. They even had to delay their Walmart debut because Red Rooster didn't even have 24 pages done and Mitch had to rush it out to meet the Walmart deadline as opposed to getting it to his backers.

I'd offer some advice that if you truly want to defeat Comicsgate then simply stop engaging openly with them. For the record I still enjoy Zack's content also and I've backed Godking, Iron Sights 2 (reluctantly) and The Expendables since. Comicsgate might be a complete and utter shitshow atm, but I'll still back certain books and creators from time to time eg: Starblades and Blade Devil.
