I can confirm that Tanya, Alex's cousin, does exist. In his latest Twitch stream, he confirms her existence.
What's interesting is that she asks Alex to work for the company she works for. Maybe Alex has an out in this situation. I doubt he'll be hired, and if he does he'll get fired quick in my eyes, but history is pretty shocking. Perhaps Alex may luck out of this situation.
What's more likely is that Alex is lying about Tanya's offer in order to make him look like he's doing YanSim because he loves to, and if he quits, can get a real job instead of looking like a 40 something incel who drinks milk.

Maybe, but imagine how sad it actually looks. If that's true that it means that she probably the only one person in the family who is kinda aware of his game dev shenanigans and thinks that it would be better for him to stop and change his ways by leaving his parrents house and find stable income job in which he won't be exposed to gremlins. Hell, she probably has both good position to influence HR department so they can hire him on simple IT position, like SysAdmin, and living space for Alex.
But he refuses like stubborn moron that he is and stays with his parents, making his little anime fetish game and esecially wasting everyones time and patience, thinking he can thrive on past and sudden glory.

Plus he lives with is parents so either he doesn't pay rent or pays very little compared to the average person. So money doesn't matter as much.

Lol calm down. It’s easier to not envy the dude when you see how miserable he really is. He’s stuck in a job he hates making this game because he failed to become a successful streamer on his own merits, and knows that Yandere Sim and drama is the only thing that keeps him relevant. He sucks at video games and has the charisma of a dead fish that actively hampers both his streams and his PR in game dev. He has completely fucked up any potential professional connections he could’ve made from this game despite getting the easiest opportunity ever for it, most people in game dev and twitch circles rightly seeing him for the incompetent jackass that he really is. He’s so paranoid about being criticized and memed that he literally has no friends despite having thousands of fans that adore him, and want to get to know him better/personally. He’s going to waste away as a bitter old man with no meaningful accomplishments to his name, alone, in his parent’s basement because he’s too much of a pussy to actually grow up and take some responsibility in anything whether it’s paying for his own place, or critiquing and refining his game for the sake of his job.
Alex’s life is a Twilight Zone-esque personal hell that isn’t worth the paycheck.

I have no idea if he still does either now that you mention it. If that’s just according to Alex though, and there’s no real proof otherwise then I wouldn’t trust him on it since he constantly lies about stuff like that to look more mature than he really is.

That's according to @Cleveland Rock though, and we all know that as Alex's most loyal ass kisser he isn't the most reliable source. Then again I don't see why he would need to lie to us about that, unless he's trying to defend DevPai's image to us "gremlins"

Does he seriously need yet another social media sight to look after and monitor? I mean good Lord. Even if you have nothing but free time, no monitoring a discord, his WordPress, a reddit page, the official site, his YouTube, Twitch and an Instagram account is a lot of work! I mean for some of those you have to come up with content somewhat regularly to keep or gain an audience. And moderators will only match your view by so much. You don't have to have a platform on everything!

I think he just can't handle anything that seems even sort of official being "off brand", that's why the subreddit bugged him so much. It's not that he wants to monitor a lot of social media for fun, it's that he can't stand the idea of anything even slightly official looking criticizing him.
