I agree with everything you said except the quoted sentence. Frog has said his per-unit production cost for the most expensive book he sells is $2-3. Gemini mailers are $.50 and below in bulk quantities of 750+. Shipping is at most $4.46 within the US.

So that's $8 TOTAL cost per book that he sells for $35 or more ($25 + $10+ shipping). Headsketch books are $100 and above. Do the math on that, fucker is rolling in it.

He's definitely dependent on YouTube self-promotion to get his books sold right now. Does that mean Jawbreakers is a failure? He's working on a third installment in the franchise in year three, as well as Iron Sights and the new Expendables licensed book. I know licenses are generally not where the big bucks are, but this is one way he can potentially attract attention from people who don't watch his YouTube. It feels like it's too early to say that he's "failed".
