I'll just say my piece on CG. @FROG has legitimate talent from what I've seen. I can barely draw a stick figure, but I can respect that Ethan has actual artistic talent. The problem is that in his haste to create CG as a "legitimate" movement, he really didn't consider who he was bringing in; this is why people like Micah Curtis, Matthew Lewis, and Liam Gray all were able to get a foothold and you started to see the shift away from a quality product that came out when promised more towards dramamongering. With the addition of War Campaign that only increased; you now have literal incels taking up the reins to determine who is "good" for CG and who isn't. That's why WC pushes these "purity" tests on people, and those who don't bow down to War Campaign (under the guise of "supporting EVS") are ostracized.

Honest opinion, I think EVS and Doug could get along if we removed people like the ones I mentioned, especially WC. I think the main point of contention is that continued association in CG, that the dramamongering cockfags are really calling the shots, and EVS has no clue how to stop it at this point.

Never bought a funny book in my life before this. I mainly bought because I appreciate the art. And the culture war crap was an added bonus. Never superchatted anyone, but have backed 19 or 20 funny books. I used to watch and be subbed to many of the CG channels. I used to enjoy the drawing streams and portfolio critiques. "Used to" being the operative words here. It has all just devolved into a bunch of adult men acting like a bunch of middle school mean girls. Great for laughs, but does not inspire me to spend any more money in this clown show. In fact, before this all totally self destructs, I think I'll go flip some floppies on Ebay.

Now I just check in every once in a while to the threads here to get my fill of absolute spergery from all sides, and laugh like any honest and true Farmer.

I feel like we've come to a point where a large portion of Warcampaign are more attracted to the WC streams and the cult of personality around Ro rather than Ethan. Ro has also been forming a lot of relationships with smaller creators like Rob Cacy, Liam Gray and Raging Golden Eagle. If a splinter faction was to form Ro would probably take a sizable audience of the most dedicated paypigs with him.

Agreed, Ethan and Doug would benefit far more as allies than has enemies, but I am too fucking blackpilled to hope for that to happen. No one is willing to clean house because of the skeletons in the closet.
