With the current unemployment structure, you're probably better off with unemployment plus the $600 weekly federal supplement than you were working. Of course, that's if you actually were working above the table and qualify. For most people it equals working a 40 hr week at 15 per hour

good chunk of people are "disabled" enough to get government benefits but not so much that they can't go and cause a ruckus. The "not even bothering to look for a job" is the more worrying demographic though, this counts informally "employed" individuals slinging crack on street corners, for instance.
