Many very large tech entities DO want it repealed (think Google, Facebook, Twitter, etc) just like how they softly pushed for the repeal of Net Neutrality. Now this doesn't make sense on the surface, because it will be extremely costly for them if it was repealed. But let me explain why large tech entities wanted Net Neutrality gone and how it could benefit them.

Basically Net Neutrality prevented ISP/Internet hub entities from charging different rates for different data types, and also prevented them from throttling based on the type of data. It mandated that all internet data to be transmitted with equal priority. But here is the clencher, without it there is nothing stopping them from selling data plans to entities that would RAISE the priority of their data over network. So if such a thing was offered, Google could pay a premium that would give their traffic priority over their competitors who may not be able to afford such additional costs, making Google more responsive and able to push higher bandwidth during peek hours. So it would very much benefit large established companies and make it harder for start ups to compete. Granted, since the repeal of Net Neutrality, there hasn't been too much movement for this to happen since basically no ISP wants to be the first one to pull the trigger since the backlash would be immense, but there is nothing legally preventing it from occurring now.

Same thing with Section 230, large already established entities would be the only ones that would have the funds to deal with the massive curation of user submitted data. Youtube would still be around because Google has the cash to force it to happen, but no fucking way any other platform would be able to deal with the monetary cost of user submitted data and having to review ALL of it or face potential legal ramifications if someone illegal gets uploaded.

This is why 'Big Tech' softly supports the repeal of such things, because of their prior established foothold of the market makes it that kneecaps smaller entities more so then it does them. Their lens its about suppression of competition.
