As far as I could tell very few people actually "lost their shit" over Kapumpernickle's "protests", most I saw just found it really annoying and/or disrespectful. This was characterized as frothy-mouthed raging because 1) the left never found a molehill they didn't want to turn into a mountain and 2) they are incapable of comprehending the idea that you can disagree with something without losing your shit over it, since they themselves are incapable of disagreeing with anything without losing their shit over it.

Also what exactly does this even mean? Okay, so even if "every conservative in America" did lose their shit over an overpaid manbaby's deliberate disrespect, that... makes rioting okay? The "logic" chain is pretty shaky even for a leftist.

I think it was Jim Gherty in National Review who coined the term "nutpicking." Going out and finding the nuttiest take possible and holding it up as representative.

Basically the human race is large enough now and broadcasting self-details so often, you can find anybody doing or reacting in any way you want. In fact I know that right now I could post a video of a black, immigrant explaining his support of nazism.

So there is probably SOME conservative out there losing their mind over the sportsball dude. The numbers are so great the odds approach 1. It's why I don't believe any peace is going to come to the human race any time soon.
