Eh, debatable. Our leader is still a moron but on the scale of moron he at least doesn't measure up to Trump. What amuses and riles me in equal measure about BOTH our nations politics is that supporting your political party has become like supporting a sports team. You stick by them no matter how badly they fuck up and support them regardless which misses the point really. I love threads like these, you dip in, make some counter arguments, somebody WILL start frothing and getting all twisty nickered about it and then you duck out again.

He who laughs at lolcows should should look to it that he himself does not become a lolcow.

But he is right any damage that repealing 230 would do to sites like twitter or facebook would do ten times the damage to smaller sites like KF or 4chan, it would be crazy that sites like these that survived so much bullshit would be sank by an idiot that probably most of the users supported.

The statement is literal, and likely comes from incredibly bad advice he's been given.

I don't think Trump even heard of something as relatively specific as Section 230 on his own.
