If only... I'm brewing coffee, its only about 3 miles away. Theres at least 16 cars circling the walmart full of zeds according to scanner, Pekin, Illinois. It started with 16, but they said more came. So who knows. They came from Peoria (Downstates own mini Chirac), went thru EP {East Peoria, a seperate town across the river, used to be nice but going to the shitter) and had a little walmart party, and now they've moved on to Pekin. It was a pretty basic time in EP, but the Pekin cops and county guys sound worried, and Park District and small town cops are volunteering to respond. The manager at the supercuts type place by walmart is going in to empty the safe apparently. Small but potential. Pekin has a reputation for racism, and the cops dont take much shit here.

I live outside town in the county, but not very far as the crow flies.

Nah, we're just at the end of a great cycle. All of the little cyclical little things in history have lined up as they periodically do and we get some unrest. It happens from time to time and we start over.

Join a nonpolitical local community group like a masters sports team or something. Normal (good) people, good camaraderie. Really takes the edge off
