The thing is, though, Netflix almost always uses LA talent.

Crunchyroll did use Funimation when they had the FuniRoll partnership, but since it's been mostly LA. Just off the top of my head, Shield Hero, In/Spectre, Somali And The Forest Spirit, Tower Of God, and My Next Life As A Villainess use LA talent.

I dunno. The theory still seems like a stretch. Interesting if true, but I won't be holding my breath.

I don't know any way it could be proven without inside information or future leaks. I'm only pointing to something suspicious that might fit the pattern (and also complaining about that FMA dub because wtf was wrong with that dub) and along the way just happened to note that Crunchyroll has way more power than you'd think right now and that Ruff and Morris appear to coincidentally also fall on the ISWV vs KV spectrum in ways that would match Sabat having his fingers in the pie somehow.

If nothing else and this really isn't connected, it's actually worse because it means the cancerous hiring practices and backstabbing involved in Funimation dealings has started to spread over to LA.

Also quick note: any post-March 2020 dub is probably coming from LA not because of a bad relationship with Funi but because they shut down their dubs for like a month and even still are having trouble getting them back up last I saw. Despite not commenting on the controversy at all, Crunchyroll immediately fired Vic from his role in Bungo Stray Dogs last year because they used all Funi VAs in that, if I recall correctly. At least as of 2019 they were still being incestuous about their dubbing.

Sweetest thing I've ever heard, I may have cavities now.
Now that's what I would call a man, someone who surpassed his anger and feel no ill will towards his detractors but instead wish for them to attain the same state of mind that he is in.
Powerlemvel time : I must say that I feel a bit jealous of Vic because I would like to have such compassion towards those that may hurt me instead of feeling hatred, jealousy and anger but I've never found such strength.

Vic calls them a "handful of malcontents" and troublemakers, nowhere near the creativity and artistry of what the KF can string together. Much more elegant, though.

I mean, it probably doesn't help that we're on a website that finds and archives info on exceptional people, from "this guy is an idiot" to "oh my God why, would you do something like this? Where is your humanity" kind of stuff.

Maybe Null should include one of those reminders Nintendo does: "If you're getting heated, chill the fuck out and go for a walk or something."

It might just be a coincidence for the Bleach live-action dub to not have Ruff involved as Rukia, but I think we'll know if she's not going to be coming back when the new anime comes out to get dubbed (simul-dub or not). Fans will/should make a huge stink about it either way, so Viz would be stupid to not get Ruff back. The only character we know for sure is going to be replaced in the dub is Uruhara due to Lindsay's unfortunate passing.

But it honestly wouldn't surprise me if most of the old-guard (now in their 50s) is being quietly pushed away for newer, younger actors minus some big-shots in the union like Steve Blum and maybe Wendee Lee. Sandy Fox might be one of those getting pushed away, too, I've not seen anything about her retiring like when it came to Lia Sargent but her roles have shrunk to background/one-shot characters and a few video games like Granblue Fantasy and Fire Emblem: Three Houses but no character's been assigned to her. Her last big role was Chibiusa for the Viz dub of Sailor Moon, and it looks like that was her first big role in years if we're not going to count Peashy from Hyperdimension Neptunia.

Im thinking this baby snark is a sock account for another KV faggot who already got doxxed but tries to look bad ass when he is a 3rd class fudge packer. Everyone knows when the farms doxx you, its so accurate .How many time have these idiots claim its not them when doxxed then eventually admit it.

Morris was "Gretchen" in the infamous io9 interview, wasn't she? I think I remember that ISWV sped Jordan Eshelman uncovering her identity. So, she's most likely very KV.

Also, I remember her tweeting about Vic last year. I just searched her twitter, but the tweet(s) seem to be gone. You can still find answers to her tweets talking about Vic, but not the tweets themselves. Maybe someone here archived them.

When it comes to Vic's audio having a shitty quality, maybe that's because the audio engineer simply sucked at his job.
I skipped over this message the other day. You have a source for Cassandra = Gretchen?
