I think there are probably quite a few reasons it came to this that overall pointed to a win-win for him to start one. He gets to 1. prove he doesn't have the "baby carrot", 2. stroke his ego/show off his vegetarian bodayy, 3. make money, and 4. further terrorize his exes by flooding the internet with pictures of his horrific penis. I think he's also angry that Repzion, Billie, and Ayalla all started one. I have a working theory that due to malnutrition Gurg has the most unfortunate form of stunted growth combined with a gene pool that desperately needs some chlorine. Now I personally am not 100% certain on how long he's been a vegetarian or if we have concrete evidence of how robust his childhood diet was cause Griggle's timeline is enormous and I'm more of a casual observer but given what we know about both him and Tammy it's probably safe to assume that 1) He's probably never put in the proper time and research to practice balanced vegetarianism and 2) Tammy probably wasn't providing the most nutritionally complete diet either.
