There really is not a rating that properly encapsulates my reaction to that chain. What a fucking useful idiot that person is and what a fine example of why social media was a bad idea. This bitch's opinions have no right to reach more people than they would if she was yapping them at her husband as he tries to ignore her without being obvious about it.

So impeding the constitutionally protected right to travel as one pleases is fine as a protest tactic.

Excuse me while I facepalm really hard.

Time to put a cattle catcher on the ol' family wagon.

Latin-america is actually the term favored by France, as it includes French speaking countries in America too (as well as Spanish and Portuguese speaking countries). Iberoamérica includes only Spanish and Portuguese speaking countries, and Hispanoamérica is just the Spanish speaking ones. Thus, Haitians would be Latinos but not Hispanos, and Brazilians aren't Hispanos but Latinos.
The French would do that lol, they invented the term in the first place so Napoleon III would have an excuse to fuck around in Mexico.

Yeah it is. But it's stance as "latino" is... Well defined by how you define latino. The original term applied to the roman empire and their successors (those being the spanish and portuguese empire. An no the eastern roman empire didn't count because the pope didn't like them and he literally got to decide what the term meant. Yeah people talk about newspeak now... Feudalism bitches, it literally worked that way), if you use it that way, most of africa, parts of india, almost all of oceania outside of austrialia itself and large parts of north america count as latino. But of course that term stopped being used that way, mostly because spain and portugal colonized most of the fucking globe. And then sold it to the british. Or lost it to revolutions. Sometimes the french got involved point is that stopped being useful. So it started being applied only to spanish colonies with enough spanish rule over time to be considered that and not just incidental lost colonies, in which case equatorial guinea is part of the term, and so is the philipines and morocco. And hilariously enough Brasil wouldn't be latino by this definition. Which of course leads us to today's term, which only includes spain and south and central america. Why the term turned into that I don't know, but it did.
Latino and Latin America was pushed by France to include the French-speaking countries in America.

What about the parts of south america full of Indians speaking dutch?

Man I don't fucking know. Specially cause it was not by our current definition but by what was there at the time (which is around the time of north american colonization, it was changed to that to distinguish portuguese and spanish ex-colonies due to the mess of international politics) but I guess if they were full of dutch back then it wouldn't count but if it filled later it would still count.

The French would do that lol, they invented the term in the first place so Napoleon III would have an excuse to fuck around in Mexico.

Actually he didn't. I don't just mean he wasn't the first to use the term. I mean he wasn't even the first to use it for that kind of justification. The reason so many different bullshit definitions happened is back during feudal times it kept being thrown around by whatever asshole wanted to claim ownership of territories from the romans. Feudal politics are a mess.

Latino and Latin America was pushed by France to include the French-speaking countries in America.

Yes that's when it changed to the third definition. See above. Feudalism: it sucks.

I'm more confused by the people who keep saying this all happened because of Trump. I don't mean people thinking he should/shouldn't use the military to stop the riots, but that Floyd's murder happened because of Trump.

That's the big problem with victimhood politics, people rallying behind one big target they want to claim causes everything to go wrong in their lives. It's why you have lunatics screaming at the sky and breaking down on camera shrieking like banshees in public.

You could ask this question of these people. Let's say Trump loses to Biden this year, do you think in the year or two following that you'll actually be happy with your life, or will you still be blaming your botched penis inversion surgery on Trump when he isn't even in office?

and what are the people of Guyana and Suriname?

There won't be a president after Trump. At the end of his term, Trump orders the launching of the entire US nuclear stockpile and cleanses the planet in radioactive hellfire.

It's for the best really.

BLM is an american organization full of Americans. Kneeling before them is not treason and even if those military personal started acting for BLM, it'd hard to argue it is treason.
Honestly people who openly oppose BLM have more reason to be worried about the military than BLM itself.
they only kneeled because they had to and it would quiet the mob.

Retarded K-pop stans have now gotten two tags trending

In their haste and lust to SHUT DOWN these tags, they tweet them 10 million times with the hashtag and their gay gifs and way more people see them than they would if these idiots just shut the fuck up for once in their life.

Excuse me? Explain this, I do not understand.

and what are the people of Guyana and Suriname?

If you make that question to an actual historian he'd get as much of a headache as we're getting over here.

I don't know in the US, but in Spain they wouldn't, as Hispanic (Hispano) is short for Hispanoamericano. Here they would be considered just Africans.

Well not always, sometimes Hispano is used for short of Hispanohablante instead, meaning everyone from any country whose primary language is spanish. Which includes equatorial guinea:

What you used as Hispano is what is legally defined as "Iberoamericano", and indeed our prior legal definition for "latino" includes all of Iberoamerica, equatorial guinea, andorra, portugal, philipines and the sefradi jews. As seen in the remainded of said laws like immigration:
(See the "2 years" segment. It is written that way because of that prior definition.)

So welcome to hell motherfucker.
