I recall a story that in the first battle of the US Civil War, the Union forces were totally unprepared for the reality of warfare and had believed it would be a casual, relaxing walk in the park before getting absolutely annihilated for their trouble.

Would you really deny so many people the thought of these rich kids getting a taste of the instability and chaos they're hell-bent on pushing on the urban working class? Of these pampered and spoiled ritzy-ditzy yuppie shut-ins getting a loud awakening to what they've been advocating?

Yes, yes, of course this is the last gasp of an ideology that was slowly dying out in US civil society (corporations always lag years behind the culture, bear this in mind) -- this is their big putsch, the hope of sparking a revolution and a civil war! Yes, yes, we know they'll fail the instant pushback is meaningfully given and we get a re-run of the late 70s and 80s whereupon most of the population just seeks stability and civility while the rioting areas find themselves bereft of capital, talent, or futures for their trouble -- we know, we know, but the karmic fantasy is jolly good anyways.

Most large scale far-left "revolutions" have always been a few people getting into positions of power, either by infiltration, coup or a combo of both. After they get into power and its too late to oppose them is usually when the civil war starts.

It's almost a shame. America has so much corruption, questionable laws and just general elites that actively work against the common man that.. well Civil wars have happened over less in history.

This weird every couple months ritual is more like a bunch of children throwing a tantrum until someone puts a stolen PS4 and some jordans in their hands, politicians make some empty promises and then everyone goes home and forgets about it after a few weeks. Honestly it seems like the exact kind of thing a corrupt government would do to keep a REAL civil war from happening.

This race war thing was extremely over exaggerated. It was a gang protected their terf from looters, which resulted in a few random blacks have their cars smashed.
There's a video from yesterday that shows a group of blacks on horseback entering the hood, congratulating the latin kings for keeping their neighborhood safe and the LKs chanting "black lives matter"

I think y'all missing the point about the Dominicans- it doesn't matter how white or black Dominicans are, but it does matter that they have to deal with the Haitians on a regular basis and were conquered by them 'forcefully united' once in the 19th century. Literally every ethnicity that has to deal with the hood on a regular basis will develop this form of resistance over time.

It's basically dumb millenials and zoomers assuming shit when it comes to running a business, like I mentioned WAY downthead a lot of the business that on Melrose Avenue (in SoCal) that were vandalized and looted weren't insured due to high premiums and the coronavirus pandemic beating the local economy senseless.
