reddit General

the second demand has already been happening (illegal) through AHS and there is a way to report subreddits. like what are they complaining about?
It's not happening fast enough.
It's parallel construction. They can't acknowledge what AHS is doing.

Well, that and the way that people are able to report subreddits now can be used against these chucklefucks, though it's largely ineffective.

Obviously, there is no issue when AHS is doing it to get subs banned for retrospective comments, but when T_D does it it's time to shut the entire site down. This isn't the first time it's been done BTW, the creator has removed the option to search by user some time ago, again to combat those pesky T_D trolls.
I don't know what you're talking about. It's just mere coincidence that every sub AHS hates and wants to get banned ends up being spammed with Child Porn, or swamped with reports that break Reddit's TOS, or ends up with the moderators losing access to their accounts so the sub becomes "unmoderated" and the mod team gets replaced by the usual suspects.

I'm a curious fuck who wanted to see the linked images but couldn't because r/Drama is set to private right now. So I found an archive of the post when it went up and the images are:

The first and last one are the same image, it was linked twice in the post.

The only thing I have to say about it is who the fuck uses Discord light theme?

Post edited because Kiwi Farms loves breaking image links when I post them.

Quoting this because something of the sort happened and I stumbled upon it now. r/redditmoment, a subreddit made to mock how redditors act was taken over yesterday by Merari01, who sneaked into the mod team, removed every single old mod and added the usual reddit powermods (with everyone's favorite, Bardfinn) in their place to make the "toxic" sub into a "wholesome subreddit about the things people like about the website".

It was such a transparent power grab they half-assedly put out an "apology" and brought back some of the older mods, without removing a single one of the new powermods that were put in place.

In honor of recent events, I thought I'd check in on r/blackfathers, a sub with literally no content (Reddit: There doesn't seem to be anything here). And apparently it was quarantined a long time ago:

Imagine being so thin-skinned that you quarantine a meta-joke that technically contains no content at all. How shocking and highly offensive.

Also, this made me lol:

I love how they worded that statement.

"Oh, I was just minding my own business one day, and out of nowhere, POOF!, I was handed the keys to this subreddit that I just so happen to disagree with, along with all of my mod friends.
What a cowinkidink!
Don't know what ((happened)) with the last moderators. Oh well!

Anyways, you guys are toxic and aren't using Reddit in a way that I like, so I'm just gonna destroy this sub by shifting it away from its original purpose and alienating anyone who used it in the past. Have fun!"

edit: Always good to archive!

Like why even keep up pretenses at this point? I guess they're too cowardly to delete it outright.

Reddit foreigners should be banned from talking about American politics

I assume from the typing style and naivety that this is still a kid.

The joke (second archive):

In case your brain doesn't work, it's quite clearly complaining about cops. Par for the course. But people think it's pro-cop because they only read the first two lines. Cue the impotent rage.

Are they tweeting buzzwords at a bot?
I'm gay and I'm still pissing and shitting outside

Anyway, her(?) posting history goes back two years, and she posts almost every day. She needs serious help. But of course r/raisedbynarcissists is a complete hugbox and any comment that calls her out is deleted by mods.

On the topic of redditmoment and average redditor, I suspect a downvote bot was set up to downvote anyone following those and/or consumeproduct. I subscribed to them to check out once in a while, the next couple days I made a few posts on a totally unrelated subreddit and all of my posts were coming at 0 upvotes (normally they start at 1), that stopped the second I ubsubscribed from those subs.

That would explain something I've been running into recently as well.

Can't be talking about black culture, otherwise the wrong people might be correctly blamed.
The conversations in other communities are a goldmine:
  • r/iamatotalpieceofshit claims it's racism porn
  • r/chaptraphouse2 "what the fuck is wrong with people?"
  • r/fragilewhiteredditor laser focuses in on "they bring it on themselves" while ignoring the substance of the piece
  • an r/neoliberal poster tries to have a nuanced discussion based on how conflicted it made him feel. the mods removed it.
