Lasering your hair isn't a one and done deal. It takes at least 2+ years worth of that shit to stop most of it growing. You pretty much have to treat that like dental visits

Good to know. I figured it was a one and done thing that killed the follicles. Maybe the laser clinic in my town is bullshitting when they say they can get your hair removed permanently in a single session

Depending on the body part and how intense your hair growth is, so genetics are a big factor too. More you visit, the bigger the gaps you can take between treatment.

While that would be karmic, I'm pretty sure it's skin irritation from wearing too much makeup and not removing it properly. Most women I know who try to be beauty stars like Nyk end up with either acne or eczema from the irritation of covering your pores in foundation 12-16 hours a day.

That's fascinating, I imagine most women learn how to apply makeup early in life. Also women I've known have tended to be pretty careful about removing makeup and doing general skincare.

Wearing a small amount of makeup and covering blemishes with foundation is usually fine, but the kind of people who go all-out to make elaborate patterns put on way too much. There's a genetic and lifestyle component to whether you have sensitive skin or not, but even normal people develop acne and irritation if they wear lots of waterproof makeup all day every day.

Maybe I did not express myself clearly enough. My point is how "skeptics" shit on Christianity yet still retain Christian values at the basic level on both sides of the political spectrum. I find it admirable that you remove Christianity in all its forms from your thinking, but not many YouTube "skeptics" have that level of self-awareness.

The obsessively anti-social justice "skeptics" retain much of the same views as conservative Christians (dogmatic opposition to minority rights, hysteria over godlessness communism liberalism destroying civilization). The most comical example is Dave Cullen (Computing Forever) who went atheist only to take the "God Pill" and become Catholic. He got rid of God (for the moment, anyway) but never uprooted the assumptions the belief in God was based on, so it makes sense the idiot would tear down the monstrous idol of a jealous god only to erect it again.

The obsessively pro-social justice "skeptics" retain Christian morals (regarding of oppression and minority status as virtues, passive-aggressive vindictive bigotry against "normal" people). Zinnia Jones is the biggest example that comes to mind right now, someone who is apparently inclusive of all genders and sexualities but supports pressuring cis men into having sex with trans women. Zinnia is also a parasitic, selfish, and dishonest person who masks herself as compassionate and inclusive, which is a very Christian thing to do.

In fairness, anything you could consider a "value" or a way of thinking is not essentially "Christian". Christianity may have claimed (directly or through common behaviours amongst its followers) particular views, habits and morals, but nothing makes them actually "belong" to Christianity, and the same applies to other organised religions. Any anti-Christian Amazing Atheist type doing any of the things you described does not make them hypocritical or inconsistent. I mean they are, but not for that reason.
