Various legal kiwis: because of the high-profile nature of this case(global attention), can the officers expect all the top law firms in the country fighting for the windfall of defending any of these 4 officers charged in the Floyd arrest pro bono? I assume it's desirable to be associated with the case no matter which side you're on, especially if you end up getting one or some of them off charges or greatly reduced, like free advertising.

No. This is something lawyers did in the 90's and early 00s. No high powered attorney wants the bad press of daring to give competent legal counsel to someone the mob wants dead. More importantly though, todays law schools are firm believers in restorative justice and manipulating the law into getting the desired outcome rather then the legal or correct one. So a young hot shot lawyer looking to make a name for themselves won't do it either.

Look back in the thread and you'll find videos of lone guys walking and smashing windows to stores in a very routine manner, a guy like that has no interest other than facilitating looting to cause unrest. Smash window, move one, smash window, move on, leave area. People see the smashed windows, someone starts looting, others join in because it's free shit. That guy is absolutely part of a smaller group that isn't there to protest.

also the guy is right, this was very clearly coordinated and planned. two dudes with skateboards smashing windows, then multiple different people immediately start pouring flammables into the car, then another guy steps up to light it on fire, all within the span of less than one minute? yeah that shit is 100% planned out in advance. random locals going out to protest don't carry bottles full of fucking lighter fluid or petrol on them, even opportunistic looters who want to get themselves some nice shit don't do that.

Speaking of Sweden, some fugnugets in Malmö tried to have their own little blm demonstration there as in Stockholm. Only problem is they had only a permit for 50 people and they were way more there. Swedish police went in and shut it all down. Now they are pissing and moaning.
