I think that may have something to do with Barr's declaration of Antifa as a terrorist movement, so they can hurt Antifa and its supporters financially. Freezing assets and the threat of legal liabilities and criminal charges for supporting terrorism, that sort of thing.

This isn't even "4D Chess/Trust in the Plan" QAnon shit either, it's been pretty obvious that the big corporations, particularly Silicon Valley and the mainstream media, have been backing a lot of the SJW woke shit and Antifa-adjacent elements for a while now.

The declaration of Antifa as a terrorist organization by the DOJ happened on Sunday, and I think they might have dropped the announcement that evening just as the riots were really heating up and going national, knowing that a lot of corporations would start virtue signalling and running interference for Antifa and BLM.

In other words, Barr might have gave them enough rope to hang themselves on Sunday.
